Profile
As a kid, he was 'adopted' by a gang of dragons called 'Shadow Dragons'. They were made of darkness and, well, shadows. (They all wore the same gemstone collars as Tangerine.) As he got older, he began slipping away from them more often and spending time with others. He learned more about both the outside world and what the Shadow Dragons really did. Finally he gathered the courage to run away from them, and has managed to avoid them so far.
Because of his past, Tangerine is terribly afraid of the dark. It reminds him of the gang, and he is also afraid that the Shadow Dragons will hunt him down because he left them. Even though he was a kid, the gang didn't hide from him what they did to 'traitors', and even chastized him once with the ultimate punishment- dropping him in a deep underground labrynth with no hope of escape. This was the turning point that made him realize he wanted nothing to do with the gang.
He keeps his old collar, which dispells some of the darkness and brings him some comfort. (Tangerine's collar is the only one that glows: it has this special property because he was the only dragon in the group that couldn't see in the dark)
