Nettle

Nettle is a harmless bat who lives every day to snack.
Unlike most of the flight-gifted humanoids within his world, Bat-people are considered thoughtless and crass, like an undomesticated feral species. Though this is not true, Nettle is immune to this sort of talk, as he does not usually wander into heavily-populated areas... Like most of his family along the caves at cliff's ends have taught him, it is better to keep to ones self and find purpose through chasing ones own happiness. And for Nettle, eating makes him happy!

He had always been given the choice to join society, but most Bat-people choose to keep hermited to the outskirts, illiterate and solely living off the land to avoid verbal and physical abuse from others. Nettle takes this time-honored traditional a bit farther and constantly wanders all over the lands and seas, enjoying what each day and night will gift him to taste. 

Though he doesn't talk much, he is quite friendly in spite of how the world treats his people, and does not mind lowering his defenses to befriend someone (who seems to have snacks for him).

Trivia:
- He is a giant golden-crowned flying fox, specifically!
- His favorite fruits are mangoes (which he is a fiend for and will fight to get his paws wrapped around), and his favorite vegetables are radishes. He has... tried a lot of raw food in his time, so he is pretty staunch on his choices, and seeks them out over everything else.
- Prefers more tropical climes
