Holy shit the finaldn, they're a very old sona which honestly scares me, but we don't have to talk about that.
PERSONALITY
Finland has a fairly simple personality because they do not like interacting with people. They generally go out of their way to avoid interacting with people and make sure interactions are short and sweet. They're very stoic and avoid letting any emotions slip through, but there's one that they struggle to keep under control.
They have some deep issues managing their anger, and when they're angry it's a struggle for them to contain any outbursts. As a generally patient person, their anger makes them much more impulsive. But they are working to get better and find better mechanisms to handle it that aren't violent outbursts,

Finland actually came to be because of my wife Ayla (thanks Ayla) for a country AU. They're generally only close with the Scandinavian countries and Bosnia. They met Bosnia early on in life, and they eventually got closer before dating. They are literally the most comfortable with Bosnia unlike they've ever felt before.
They've specifically been working on their anger problems to make sure they don't scare Bosnia or do anything because the thought of that scares them a lot. They will get angry and hold the tiny girlfriend and that is all.
PAIN AND SUFFERING THE AU
Keep in mind this is an AU bitches, That's right.
This AU is based on a Bosnia whose homeland has been destroyed and she barely manages to survive. So, Bosnia flees north without knowing where nya's going and on the verge of passing out in a snowstorm is where Finland finds nyan. Despite their past history in this au, - Finland was constantly abusive to Bosnia and they were never on good terms, - they didn't want Bosnia's death on their conscience, so they picked up Bosnia and took her home.
They then cope with an odd mix of not wanting Bosnia to die, but absolutely hating her and living with her presence (that they invited into their home).
RELATIONS
The adorable tiny small gf <3 They love to hold Bosnia and calm down by holding onto it. Nya's helped them a lot with their own inner struggles by just being there,
They hate that this bitch always shows up to taunt them. It insists on being gay and stuff like that and they don't know why it can't just be normal. You let someone kiss you ONCE and it's all downhill from there.
They prefer not to interact with them. The only reason that this isn't at 1 heart is because they don't interact enough for how irritating they are to constantly be on their mind. It just acts like a cold asshole, and for what?

- I'm surprised that Finland has been around this long, I kind of expected them to be a throwaway once country AU died out.
- Finland and Bosnia dating was an AU for the longest time before becoming canon.
- They act very cold but have a massive soft spot for any animals.
- Any violent act towards Bosnia was originally sparked by cuteness aggression.
