- Bugs! It'a his duty to make sure the world knows more about them!
- Sweets. He has quite the sweet tooth.
- Spring. He personally feels it's a nice balance between winter and summmer.
- Working. He's very much a workaholic and prides himself on that.
- Sleep. Who needs sleep when you can stay up and work on things?
- Anything messy. He can't stand the sight of a mess.
- Winter. He just doesn't like the cold weather and snow it comes with.
- Losing his glasses. It's not fun at all.
It was Katsu's decision to have additional set of gym leaders outside of the usual norm. These gym leaders are ones that are optional to fight and are mostly there for training experience prior to fighting the last gym leader and anything beyond that. Peyton was one of the gym leaders selected for this. Being the grandchild of Xenica (the one who previously owned Hikaru), Peyton is fascinated with bugs and always carry that desire to ensure they're well taken of. After all, bugs aren't pests. They deserve to live as much as anything other Pokemon. Peyton himself is a quirky guy that can be analytical and goofy at times. There mere sight of a bug is enough to get him blabbering on about them.
- Peyton's jersey number is 637. That number is in reference of the national pokedex number for his his ace Pokemon: Volcarona.
- Figuring out the bug Pokemon that were going to be on Peyton team took quit a bit of playing around as it took a bit to be sastified with what he had.
- Peyton was originally planned to have a Frosmoth on his team. However, I decided against that and swapped for something that is meant to serve as its opposite: Volcarona.
- Trying to figure out Peyton's name was a game of me finding what sounded right for him and what worked with his design.

A female Galvantula that comes with the ability Compound Eyes. This bubbly Pokemon is known for having Thunder, Volt Switch, Bug Buzz and Energy Ball. She is the sister of Vox's Galvantula.
