Graduating at the top of her class at Japanifornia’s College of Clowning, Pierrette Lefou, also known as “Lucky Lucy” or “Lulu” for short, is a new and cheery face to the world of clownery.

Partnered with her rodent friend Toodalouie, the iconic duo leave tears of laughter as they travel from venue to venue. Offstage, she continues her daily activities as Lulu. Even her fellow clownies have never seen her break character.

In the past, Pierrette’s turned down many opportunities to work with larger companies, claiming that she doesn’t perform for money, then turns around to run off to another birthday party.

Despite her friendliness and popularity, there isn’t much known about the person under the greasepaint. Pierrette is a character shrouded in mystery…

• Googling for Lulu the Clown brings up her Clownbook (Facebook for clowns) and Jugglr (Tumblr for clowns), as well as a personal website which one can assume she designed herself.
• Her Clownbook clearly displays her real name, so it’s no secret!
• Lulu's Jugglr blog is 50% clown positive posts, 15% other clown-related content, 10% rodent pics, and 5% ominous personal posts.
• Her website has her hourly rates and a guestbook. The guestbook is filled with comments like “The best! :oD”, “Lucky Lucy was incredible. The kids loved her and her wonderful balloons!
