Quiet and reserved, Rye can often be observed crafting their various, delicately made textiles of which she puts up for sale occasionally. Her textiles are popular even within Savnic, with quite a few of her custom orders being placed online- but what brings her the most happiness is her lowkey life within Rosemoon. Rye also moonlights as a rather famous poet under the name of LIEF, but nobody is aware that LIEF and Rye are the same spinx (even if she doesn't hide it at all- she's just got a very simple vibe to her).

story

From a young age, Rye was set to inherit her family's modelling company, Aurient- as a Savnic raised spinx, she was set up to be another cutthroat buisnesss-spinx. However, Rye never wanted to become that kind of spinx, and when she became 16, she left for a more peaceful life, leaving the entire company heirless- in her leave, her cousin, Caesar was made future head of the company, a decision that was successful (for better or worse). Even though her parents were mostly supportive of her decisions (especially regarding her transition), perhaps they hold a little resentment for her complete change in lifestyle. It doesn't really bother her though- Rye is very much a cat of 'the past is in the past', and was closer to Caesar than anyone else in her family. (Thus, he's one of the only things that made her the slightest bit reluctant to leave...)

Rye's gift itself is a product of her quiet generosity; a small family of centicorn who had always admired her textile works had recently suffered a horrible loss, and lo and behold, without too much sound Rye had come to them with a beautiful, star-embroidered tapestry of their lost loved one. In spite of their insistence that they paid her back with coin, Rye knew they had very little to spare and refused it- instead she found herself with a horn, of which she also uses in her textile works. She's still friends with the family today, even if she leans on the quiet side while they prattle on.

...In truth, her quiet, generous, and humble nature likely stems from lingering regret regarding the spinx Caesar became, and the cat he is today- while she never regrets the change of lifestyle at all, Caesar is one of the very few subjects she's somewhat closed about. In spite of this, she's one of the very few Caesar openly lets visit; and despite the years, the two have never forgotten the practically sibling-like relationship they had in the past.
