Jarra is generally good natured. He's lazy, but kind with a big heart. He's got a lot of room to love. He is the type who is an acquaintance to many, friend to few. He gets around a lot but doesn't always stick around for long,  although he generally likes the people he meets. He comes across as selfish sometimes because he's lived enough life to know what he wants and how he wants to live. He's done his hard work and now he just wants to relax. The most mischievous gets is when he sings songs to lure people into the forest like a siren, just so he can watch them. He's very voyeuristic, but doesn't often interfere. 

Jarra is a former scholar who studied local flora and fauna. He used to be quite the notable scholar in the region. In his youth, he'd travel and spend more of his days filling his field journal with observations and botanical sketches. He used to be quite the serious worker, but his patience has dwindled over the years. He'd get very focused on his work when he was younger, but he often times finds himself now being the one distracting others away from their work for his own benefit.

Now Jarra uses his knowledge of how the local plant life grows to find the best napping spots in all the region. He loves to nap in the sun and find different places to nap (sometimes in places he shouldn't be: like people's homes, nests, and gardens). 

He also uses his plant knowledge to brew the most delicious mead. Jarra makes his own fairy mead and sometimes trades it to humans for their own alcohol since fairy-alcohol is strong for humans and human alcohol is strong for fairies. His regular consumption of alcohol along with various sweets is his reason for his tummy. Yes, he's a bit of a drunkard.

Drinking is a way for him to help him feel nostalgic for his younger life. He likes to think of the days where he was going places in the world and had big things and big dreams ahead of him, but that's all behind him now, and he's accepted the way things are now and enjoys to use his time relaxing. He's realized now that he doesn't really want any limelight. It's strange for him when he is recognized because of his scholarly works. Not that he totally  minds. He enjoys the praise.

• He's attracted to lights like a moth. Loves to cuddle for warmth. Has big grandpa hands, perfect for cuddling and holding you close.
• Gravitates towards youthful beauty, new sprouting plants, young animals, fairies and people younger than him - he just thinks its an interesting subject to be in the middle of your life but still seem so new and fresh
