Childhood

Spirit's "character" is what remains of a girl called Lexi Bell. Lexi lived in a wealthy family until the age of 6 where she was kidnapped and taken to Tinderbox Asylum, a building that conducts unethical experiments on willing and unwilling subjects. Lexi was partnered with Eryn Harper, 7, and kept together for the majority of their stay. Further experiments were conducted to measure their compatibility and emotional connection. Lexi was calm, sweet and innocent, while Eryn was more snappy and standoff-ish.  Eryn quickly became Lexi's protector, as being older and more hardened, she could deal with the emotional stress far better then Lexi could. Lexi had kept a pendant from her mother throughout her imprisonment, it was her most beloved possession and she would fight to stop their captives from taking it, so they eventually allowed her to keep it on. 

Teenager

The asylum kept the two girls until they matured, Lexi 15, Eryn 16. By this age, they had somewhat adjusted to their life and were given privileges to train, spend time outside, education and small comforts. Eryn held onto her hatred of the asylum, while Lexi accepted her life as what is it and sought to make the best of it. As a sign of their friendship, Lexi gave Eryn her beloved pendant with a vow that they will never leave another behind. They will escape together, or die the same. One day, however, that all changed. After many previous failures, the scientists decided that the subjects needed a strong emotional bond, and such these two girls were their best chance. The two girls were taken to a specialized room and strapped to two strange chairs. Over the course of a few hours, they were subjected to rigorous experiments, mostly using electricity in high voltages, the aim; To transfer two consciousnesses into one body.  They succeeded, however, Lexi's soul had been lost in the process, only her conscious was successfully transferred into Eryn's body. 

This new creation was renamed as Razi. Razi was unpredictable, a crazed girl with the memories of two people crammed in her head. She was confused, upset, she didn't understand what was happening to her. In one of her crazed episodes, she managed to break free of her cell and escaped. She ran through the surrounding forest until she could no further. She could see the city on the horizon, but her legs gave up carrying her weight. She collapsed, body weak, mind broken and messy. Her pendant begun to glow, its stone flickering with an assortment of colors. A powerful demon appeared in front of the girl and took pity on her horrid state. The demon introduced itself as Trinity and offered the girl power and clarity of the mind. It carried out its promise and separated the two girls consciousness. It placed Lexi's in one half and Eryn the other and assigned them both a positive and negative energy. Lexi was positive and Eryn, negative. They must absorb these to increase their power. It would become their new identities.
