Shala

Shala is a soft-spoken and affectionate person with great aspirations. She was always led to be an honorable person who kept her word and, with all honesty, easily keeps this a reality. She dearly cares for Nova, making sure the other edenling is fairing well and has everything she may ever need.

She absolutely adores any kind of animal, her affections greatly shifted towards insects much to most people's surprise. She has considered becoming a beekeeper on the side so she can be closer to the animal she adores the most. She also loves company of children, sharing Nova's wish to one day be able to raise one of their own. But for now, she directs that kind of affection towards their dog, Lulu, who is pampered from dawn till dusk as long as Shala is home.

She's also very diligent and punctual, prefering to have things in order and done way before any deadlines. This way she has managed to also help with Nova's mental health, a fact that makes Shala incredibly happy.

Shala's family background is surprisingly stormy, due to how often her older brother fought with her parents, his rebellious and reckless behaviour a major concern and common topic of the fights. But regardless, her parents tried their best to bring Shala up with love and care while also making sure she was a good person and not a spoiled brat. They led her towards honesty and diligency, relieved when that didn't turn out the same way it did with her brother.

Despite being soft-spoken, Shala easily found friends and had a large friend group most of which stayed with her since elementary school. This has helped build some confidence in Shala but she still turned out incredibly shy the first time she got asked for a date by her long-term crush, Nova, in high-school. She remembers the day fondly, glad that she agreed to it despite her heart, per her words, nearly stopping in surprise when Nova asked.

But Shala turned out to be the one suggesting they move in together, even managing to find them a flat they could easily afford. Her parents, accepting towards the couple since they saw how happy Shala was, helped out with the rent at the start as well, at least until Nova found work as a nurse. Shala admits she felt a bit lonely thanks to it, since both she and Nova started university together but she is glad that she managed to achieve the title she always wished for.

Currently, Nova and Shala still share a flat, along with Lulu who has been given to Shala as a graduation gift by Nova. They are looking to either adopt or have a child, whichever turns out the most convenient and are also working in the hospital together, although each in a different ward at the moment. However, they are hoping to one day have an ordination of their own.
