The protagonist of one of many stories. Before Shitami's graduation, they and their school were mysteriously cursed by a demonic manifestation that came alongside a sudden phenomenon arising in Japan, leading to her succumbing to long periods of slumber filled with torturous nightmares. The periods of slumber soon evolved to a year-long coma, which upon waking from it did Shitami decide to immediately end her life. Upon her death, they were sent to the realm of the Heaven Prison, one of the domains of the Trinity that represents the universal underworld "Hell", and awoke inside a cottage owned by someone calling themselves Gutstein. Briefed of their situation, Shitami decides to venture through the Heaven Prison for a way to return to the life she left behind, with Gutstein's aid along the way. While in the Heaven Prison, she must find ancient artifacts and stave off many other witches before she could challenge the true ruler of the Heaven Prison, and in her victory will she decide if they truly want to return to life once more.

MISC

• Before her death, she wanted to go to a university to study Agronomy.
• She was the sukeban at her school, before the time of her graduation, and was often known to initiate violence than any other member. After she and the school were cursed, she was forced to leave her group.
• She always wears thick leggings and an undershirt when she wears her uniform, due to being easily cold.
• The name "Shitami" is actually not her real name. All witches/potential witches are given new names when they have descended into the Heaven Prison.
