About

Vivan was once a confident and kind young Padawan/Jedi, always there to help others who were in need and never afraid to jump into battle. That demeanour soon changed when the Council expelled her from the order after hearing that she had sided with the enemy. She soon became cold and distant, very close to turning to the dark side. After the events of Order 66, she ran, too afraid to think about the past, good or bad, so she narrowed herself in the middle, becoming a Gray Jedi until the Empire found her. She was cold, distant, broken, but she was wise. She helped others, but could not help herself.

Early life

Her life on Serenno wasn't very peaceful. The views on force wielders and Jedi caused Vivan to keep her abilities secret from both her family and the rest of the planet. She'd make it a habit to train her abilities in private, borrowing old books and ancient texts of different ways the Jedi would train their abilities and test their skills. But that only lead to the Jedi finding her. Jedi master Kit Fisto was the one who had both felt her through the force and discovered her on Serenno. With no hesitation, Vivan went with Fisto, not looking back on her home planet.

Padawan life

With agreement from the council, Vivan was aloud to continue/finish her training at the Jedi temple with the other younglings. When the time came, the council assigned her to work under Kit Fisto. She was a well respected Padawan and rarely disobeyed her or other Jedi Master's orders. During the The Queen of Geonosis arc, Vivan was tasked to assist Anakin Skywalker and Luminara Unduli and their Padawans. While both Padawans, Ahsoka and Barriss, were tasked with navigating the droid factory catacombs, Vivan was tasked with following their movements via tracker and updating the masters on their progress as they progressed forward towards the factory.

After destroying the factory and discovering/killing the Geonosis queen of legend, the three padawans were tasked with sending medical supplies to Mace Windu on Dantooine from a medical station near Ord Cestus. Many of the Clones, as well as Unduli's Padawan, Barriss, were infected by a parasite created by the Geonosis queen. Vivan was ready to kill a fellow Padawan and troopers in order for both her and Ahsoka to survive. She was also brave enough to trust other clones who appeared to not be infected as the virus was just starting.

When the shuttle was recovered by Kit Fisto at the Ord Cestus station, Fisto knew that Vivan was ready for her trials after her show of skills onboard the shuttle.

Trials

Vivan was tasked with going to Tatooine for six months and befriending a group of Tusken Raiders. There, she was to learn their language, become apart of their clan and to help them with whatever tasks they needed help with. Only downside for her was... no lightsaber aloud. She accepted her trial and she headed to Tatooine straight away.

There, she travelled the harsh desserts and fiery double suns, almost coming to a collapse when she found a travelling clan of Tuskens. They nursed her back to health (only upon realising she was definitely not armed and definitely not a threat), and agreed to take her in until the time came for her to leave. She learnt their language (both sign and speech). She taught them how to fight. They told her stories and she told them stories. And before she knew it, bond between human and Tuskens were born.

She was then asked, due to her force wielding abilities, if she would help them defeat their local menace, the Krayt Dragon. She was hesitant to say yes at first, but knowing deep down what Sand People were like if they didn't get their way, she said yes.

She lost many from the tribe that day, but she soon was able to take it down with enough help from her new found friends and a dash of the force. That night while the tribe dined on the fresh dragon meat, Vivan was gifted the pearl from it as a token of their gratitude and a special carved item that was hand crafted by one of the women. She left the tribe happy and a Knight.

Knight hood

Vivan returned and went straight to Ilum to craft her new lightsaber crystal out of the Krayt Dragon pearl. She spent ages perfecting the pearl into a crystal, discovering both herself and overcoming urges that influenced the path of the dark side. After a few more months, she was finally ready to fully return to the Temple. She then returned back to the temple, lightsaber in hand and the Tusken's gift on her belt. Then, she was finally appointed a Jedi Knight.

Clone Wars

Vivan would go on to complete a rather dangerous mission further into the Clone Wars. One that would lead to all her troops, which she loved dearly, being wiped out by Count Dooku. Vivan grew angry with Dooku as well as the Jedi Council, telling them that they said no one like Dooku would be present there. They only stated that she didn't need to know of Dooku's presence and that she should have been prepared for anything. In a fit of rage, she stormed out of the Jedi Temple and pursued a group that was known to be planning the death of Dooku. And that group was none other than the Death Watch. She worked in secret with them, not alerting the council or other Jedi of her plans. They never knew of her status as a Jedi whilst she begun working with them.

Except for one specific member. Bo-Katan. Both the women start falling for each other, despite their backgrounds and jobs. The two did end up forming a secret relationship. However, the two did jump to the opportunity of a relationship too quickly, and both did become rather toxic to each other at some points during their relationship.

When Death Watch had found the two Sith brother's, Darth Maul and Savage Opress, Death Watch agreed to the Siths' plans to overthrow Mandalore as well as the Duchess (who was Bo-Katan's sister).

Vivan had pulled Bo-Katan aside and declared her distrust towards Maul and warned her partner to be careful of the Sith. Bo-Katan agrees with her statement, but says that she can't do anything about it as the Death Watch's leader, Pre Vizsla, had already agreed to the plan.

It isn't long after that Maul finds out about Vivan's rank as a Jedi (by sensing it through the Force) and announces it to Pre Vizsla. Vivan, afraid that if she doesn't confess Maul would kill her, ends up telling the truth about her Jedi background.

Pre Vizsla wanted to kill her, but Maul proposed that she become his own "pet", saying that she'll be useful when getting into Mandalore. Vivan, afraid for her life, accepts Maul's offer.

Maul begins growing his and the Death Watch's allies, all the while Vivan helped with naming some groups and people that would help them in the plan to take over Mandalore. When the time comes to take over Mandalore, word gets out about Vivan joining the side of the Sith. Many of the Jedi Council didn't believe it (only because her old master, Kit Fisto, managed to convince them the rumours were false), and decided to wait to see if she'd return with an explanation about said rumours.

War on Mandalore

When Satine is thrown into prison, the Death Watch turn on Maul and Savage, and throw them into prison as well. Vivan is declared an alley to the Death Watch, due to being proved useful to the Death Watch as well Bo-Katan admitting to Pre Vizsla that they were a couple. However, the two Sith end up escaping and Maul takes Vivan hostage. She is forced to stay by his side when Maul takes up the Dark Saber, Death Watch's leadership role as well as the ruler of Mandalore. This breaks Bo-Katan's heart, and ultimately makes her hate Vivan just as much as the Maul.

When Satine is attempted to be rescued by Obi-Wan, Vivan is forced to bring both the Jedi Knight and Duchess to Maul herself. Obi-Wan is overcome with confusion as the Jedi stands by Maul's side on the throne. When Maul kills Satine, he becomes angry with both the Sith and Vivan (as she did nothing to stop Maul). Obi-Wan and Bo-Katan escape, but Vivan stays.

Obi-Wan finally returns back to the Jedi Temple and announces the news about Mandalore as well as the news about Vivan. The council declare her as expelled from the Order due to her "betrayal". Kit never believed what Obi-Wan said was true, still believing that Vivan had good in her.

For about a year before the Siege of Mandalore, Vivan put up with both mental and physical abuse by the Sith lord. There had been many times where Vivan tried to escape, however, she'd be recaptured by the Sith lord or his brother Savage yet again. With no one to turn to other than Maul, she grew ever closer to the Dark Side.

When the Siege had begun on Mandalore, Vivan took the opportunity to battle the Sith Lord. He teases her, telling her to fuel her hatred and turn fully to the Dark Side. However, she realises what she was doing and flees, this time not being pursued by Maul. Not long after, Ahsoka Tano finds Vivan and tries stopping her from leaving. Vivan announces to her friend that she's pregnant and needs to leave to protect the baby from Maul. Ahsoka lets her go and she flees to a remote planet known as Bogano.

Post Order 66

To her unknowing, Bogano was inhabited by an old Jedi named Eno Cordova. She took shelter with him and he explained to her that the Jedi have fallen (basically Order 66). She then tells him of her pregnancy, which he takes as a surprise but doesn't shame her for it. He allows her to stay until she has given birth, but they both agree to hide the baby soon after in hopes that it doesn't get found by any forces left trying to wipe out remaining Jedi.

Nine months pass and Vivan gives birth to Elwyn around the beginning of 18 BBY. Quickly, she hides the baby on Nevarro before departing back to Bogano. Eno tells her that his end is near and tells her his plan. He explains that he's hidden a Holocron containing all future Force-sensitive children in the vault on Bogano and has tasked his droid, BD-1 with giving a Jedi access to information that will allow them to access the vault/Holocron. However, Vivan cannot be around BD-1 as she was not in his visions of the future. Around this time, she has also drained all the force from her kyber crystal, turning it a pure white.

She travels to the outskirts of Bogano, yet still stays in range of the vault to keep it safe from any enemies. Years after the Jedi Purge, a young Jedi named Cal Kestis finds Bogano, BD-1 and the vault. Overcome with happiness to see another Jedi, she bids Cal farewell in his journey to access the Holocron. He returns with the key and encounters a possible vision of the future. Yet whilst he has the vision, the Second Sister, Trilla, infiltrates the vault. Vivan tries holding her off for as long as possible.

Both have a huge standoff; the ex-Jedi protecting Cal whilst Trilla tried obtaining the Holocron. Cal, finally coming to from the vision and unlocking the Holocron, turns to witness that Trilla has entered. Vivan, tired from fighting, is stabbed through the back by the Sister's lightsaber. With a smile, she tells Cal to save the future of the Jedi, before dying in front of him (14 BBY).

Her body returns to the Force and continues to watch over both Cal and her child, Elwyn. She may not have been happy with her decisions in life, but she makes sure to help steer her young friends on the right path, making sure that they don't end up like her....

Elwyn Fable  [ Child ]

Elwyn was born on Bogano but quickly transported away to Nevarro by their mother, Vivan. Vivan would then wipe their memories of the Force as well as Vivan herself as to not let the Empire find them, When Vivan died, she chose to watch over both Elwyn and her friend Cal Kestis. She makes sure to steer the two on the right path, hopefully to stop them from ending up like her.

Tsik Lir  [ Acquaintance ]

Tsik and Vivan had only ever worked with each other once. Vivan was honoured to meet Tsik as he was one of the many people to be Padawan to the old yet wise Jedi, Tera Sinube. Vivan looked up to and respected Sinube as a Jedi and respected anyone who had ever worked under his guide. Tsik however, was somewhat embarrassed with all the praise from Vivan, always mentioning that it isn't that big of a deal.

Bo-Katan Kryze  [ ex-girlfriend ]

Bo-Katan had found out about Vivan's rank as a Jedi by finding her lightsaber. Bo wasn't too happy yet couldn't bring herself to hate the kind yet supportive ally. The two did end up falling for each other and soon declared a secret relationship between each other. When Maul and Opress were discovered by Death Watch, Bo was frightened for Vivan as she didn't want her partner to be discovered.

When it happened, and Vivan accepted to be by Maul's side, she wasn't too happy. The two's relationship from there would be very rocky, yet all seemed fine again when Maul, Opress and Satine were jailed and their relationship was made known to the Death Watch.

But all would soon change when Maul and his brother escape, taking Vivan hostage again. Bo-Katan would grow to hate Vivan as she watched her do absolutely nothing to stop the Sith from ruling Mandalore as well as killing her sister (when the time came). Bo-Katan found out through Ahsoka about Vivan's pregnancy and officially declared Vivan as her enemy. She would never let her heart be broken again.
