Before Cam was completely wrecked... well, hm. Things haven't changed for him-- at all. He still is loyal to the gang that practically raised him. It isn't uncommon for some planets to be "forgotten" by the FC in their time of need.

The planet Cameron had been born on was in the middle of mass worldwide riots against various organized crime syndicates. Cam's parents were part of all of this madness-- it made for some unsympathetic folks! They more or less gave him away to their uppers as soon as his motor skills and attention span developed.

Long story short, it had been over 20 years since the syndicate riots had started- add Cam's own 20 of living that hard knock shit day in and out... eventually it caught up to him, for being so proud and feeling 'a part' of such deviousness. At least, thats what the street doctor told him, when he unveiled Cam's new cybernetic headpiece. A rival gang had bashed his head in while he had been going on a ludes binge with his bosses... it wasn't a fun time.

But his new headpiece is AMAZING! So no lessons were learned.

With his new cyborg head, he's been graciously promoted and allowed to guard over pass-offs and meetings with other/rival gangs. ...even with the new brain storage and function capacity, its still better if Cam stays quiet.
