Auna was a perfectly normal man living in the City Zone for most of his life - working as an intern at Caduceus under Doctor Styles, a mutated ROSALIA strain ended up permanently affecting his physical form. Feeling it was as good an excuse as any, he applied for a Kingdom Zone Ambassador position and has been using his aquatic form to act as liason between Laguz and City officials ever since. He was formalized as an honorary member of the Sea Tribe Laguz

He has a strong interest in travel and cultures, and likes spending time around people... but he gets irritated with City natives quickly, giving him a reputation for having a temper among friends.
When on land long enough, he gains scale covered legs to walk around with. This seems to be common to any sea-tribe Laguz to begin with, so he fits in well within coastal areas.
He always seems to have a mournful smile - people say he smiles like he's had his heart broken.
He has the unique distinction of still possessing traces of the City's magic despite being predominantly in the Kingdom Zone nowadays.
You cannot pay him enough to go near the Wasteland, but is interested in projects to revitalize it.

Yin growing up has been always troubled; always fighting the demons inside his mind, trying his best not to give in to these dark thoughts of pulling people under water to their deaths. He just wants to be good....but why has it been so difficult to continue to be one? He is afraid...afraid of his powers, afraid of what he is capable of.

Luckily, he would meet Vaughn who would help remind him that he is a good one, and that you have to push those thoughts away..though Zachary would always remind Yin to embrace his full potential and don't be scared; once he embraces all his strength he would have better control on them
