Some notes about Li while I work on making words more flowery about him brb:

Lito'li Bhaapu. Not a fan of being called "Lito", since that's his mom's name. Instead his nickname is just "Li" which set him apart from his brothers as a kid
Age 22, Sagittarius (Dec 3)
Cis male, very gay
He grew up with his family (mom, two older brothers, elezen friend Gabi) of poachers in Middle-of-Nowhere, Black Shroud
He hated this, because he doesn't like hurting animals. Also his mom is a horrible, manipulative person
He's a very skilled leatherworker, not happy about this either and prefers cloth
Pescatarian
Extremely good at behavior analysis; great at detecting lies
He fell in love with Ul'dah while visiting after leaving the Shroud; it's amazing people watching
Fascinated by paissa because it can be a challenge reading their expressions. Loves his pet paissa, Pumpkin
Rarely/never blushes
Hasn't learned to read, except very basic shipment warnings (is currently learning)
Extremely skilled with projectiles; fierce but weak in melee
Can be direct but prefers to be obtuse for funsies
He's like 5'2 and doesn't act it
He enjoys wearing fine clothes
Massive, unrequited crush (and later, love) for my WoL Rat, which he had taken a while to get over
He can craft, advise, dance, and track by trade but mostly just freeloads, leeching off Rat and Gabi's hospitality
He was a brat but is pretty chill now

And some more meta notes:

Early in development, my main WoL Rat was changing in too many directions and some of the personality he was gaining started to feel ooc. So I plucked some of the traits that felt too divergent from his path that I still wanted to explore and created Li from them. Li started off as a little ball of lust with cat ears, but quickly weaseled his way into a place in Rat's WoL meta. He has gone through a lot of growth and had some of his own traits purged and passed on to create Michi, so really they have all shared the one gremlin braincell at one point or another.

Li and Rat:

Li found Rat's house while looking for a place to stay after he arrived in Ul'dah. The door was open from a failed robbery attempt so he just let himself in and helped himself to food and bed while the owner was away. He didn't move out until Rat and T'lehn bonded, but now has an apartment in the same Goblet ward Rat was in before Rat returned to Ishgard.
Li didn't know Rat was the WoL until Rat got whisked to the First and Li went around asking what happened to him. Hearing everyone's stories about Rat only made Li start falling in love, where before there was just lust.
Li originally found Rat interesting because Rat was obviously attracted to Li but despite being an impulsive guy Rat refused to act on that attraction. Li saw this as a challenge (one he ultimately lost to T'lehn).
Now Li gets to be sad about Rat'lehn canon because I enjoy angst. He's in a thruple and is bonded to a disgustingly wealthy Kugane au ra so he's doing fine; he has love.
