Aelar was an elven ranger that joined up with Dove and Lucan after they had already met and been travelling for several months. At first very quiet and nervous, Aelar spoke little of his past. Dove and Lucan were slow to trust him due to his recalcitrance. In the beginning he was quiet because he wasn’t comfortable with them. And then he grew more comfortable and a bit more open and joked with them. And then he got quiet again because oh shit he caught some feelings and wow he’s awkward.

Aelar was the first to slip squarely into affection with both Dove and Lucan. Dove had a positive and warm disposition, instantly attracting him to her. Lucan was quiet and seemed uninterested in getting closer, but really the man just didn’t like to speak. He demonstrated his feelings through actions however, frequently using his abilities to keep the other two out of harm’s way, and even going so far as to use his body to shield Aelar from damage multiple times. Aelar never quite recovered from his Emotions the second time that happened, and so found himself hopelessly in love with his two companions. 

Instead of confessing outright, Aelar expressed his affection through food. He was an accomplished cook, having once been partly responsible for feeding a large family. 

Continuing that tradition, Aelar now runs the kitchen at the F&F. He often spends mornings prepping a simple breakfast before going out to scour ingredients, either from the local vendors and farms or from the wild.
