Maya Seaver

Maya is the youngest out of two girls, herself and her twin sister Mira and born into the large aquairyan pod. While Mira was born a mermaid, she was born with legs, this shocking and confusing her family, not able to work our what has caused this to Maya.

The twins, as with any pair of twins, bonded and becoming close. On her fifth birthday, her mother gave her a sketchbook and pencils, to which  she became attached to. 

As she drew, she found out anything she did draw came to life, this frightening Maya, confiding into her mother, who later told her it was most likely due to her mermaid heritage. Maya, reassured, resumed her love of drawing.

As she grew up, her family suggests she meet others her own age. Feeling adventurous, she ventured into the nearest town, however stuck out like a sore thumb, often called unusual, abnormal and even accused of witch craft, one person threatening to burn her, Maya quickly fleeing and not looking back, escaping the clutches of death.

Lost and Far from home, Maya survived, eating and drinking to keep her strength up, learned to defend herself and climb and had a close encounter from wolves, shaking her.

Backstory

As Maya explored, she often found herself in new places with no recollection in how she got there.  Started commissiibs to help earn her way.

Reunited with her family after finding her way back at fifteen  Attended two schools.  At some point, now sixteen, ended up on the bridge of Dukelpia.

Met Lyca and Max for the first time, two of Dukelpia's wolf shifters. Because she appeared very much human, she was a oddball. 

Found out she would be sharing a dorm with Lyca, as well as receiving a dress, expressing she's never had something like this before in her life. 

Her fear of wolves emerged when she heard wolves howling, hiding under her bed, Lyca finding her there, asking why she was under the bed.

She expressed her fear of wolves to Lyca, who explainedshe had nothing to fear. Met her daemon after drawing him and bringing him to life, told he was a part of her soul, a wolf pup to which she named Snow.

Met Sugar, a young cupid and Zephyr, paladin and brother to Primrose. Attended her very first dance, meeting Nolan. 

Her experience at first was not great, accidentally stepping onto his foot, soon guided by Nolan, for Nolan, it was love at first sight for Maya, even gifting her a pink rose and a letter when she returned to her dorm.

Found out about a war and being oneof several allies to unicorn shifter Faedra. 

Is currently training under Lyca and Sugar's care. She has come ofage but is unable to shift, to which she has accepted.
