Thistle has a unpredictable personality. He can jump to action without reason, or so it seems. The only one who controls his behaviour is Vyran, who Thistle follows blindly. If Vyran commands him to hurt someone, he will do so without question. He's also very possesive and controlling.
Thistle was raised in Goldfair by his mother, but pretty much no one there knew where he came from. He got really close with Akia, and two did everything together. During his life in Goldfair, he always had a handkerchief wrapped for his mouth, everyone was told it was because he had an illness, in truth it was to hide his Vespire fangs.
One day, after there was an incident, a Vespire grabbed him while he was out playing with Akia and brought him to Benelaire. It was his grandfather, he agreed to pick Thistle up as his mom worried after what had happened that it was not safe anymore to keep Thistle among Pouflons, and that living with Vespires would be safer for everyone. He hated his mother for it and could especially not stand to be apart from Akia. His mood only worsened, he despised all the Vespires around him as he did not want to be there, and he despised Pouflons for not tolerating him. Thistle would lash out at anyone and hurt many Vespires during his stay.
A Pouflon named Vyranthir got word of Thistle and his strange ability to shift between species. Vyran was the first Pouflon he met that was much like him, a mix of species. But more then anything, Vyran understood him. Together they dreamt of a world where Vespires would be welcome, and even rule everything. Thistle, after having heard that Akia was send out to study at Obrillon and eventually fight some stupid battles for the queen, couldn't agree more. He would keep the Tourbillon Poufs safe, and the Vespires would do what they did best, fight and rule.
- Has an adoration for Tourbillon Pouflons, mainly because of Akia, who he had always adored. He's determined to keep them all from fighting the queen's war and possibly perishing in it. But his solution is rather drastic.
- Is the most loyal to Vyran. Though Myth followed Vyran for a long time as well, he didn't always wanted to just hurt someone. Thistle deemed him to soft, and later hated him for getting "confused".
- Even as a Pouflon Thistle is pretty tall. As a Vespire even more so, many other Vespires in Benelaire would fear Vyran and everyone working under him, including Thistle.
- Has not the best smooth talking abilities, leaves getting new recrutes to Vyran while he is more like the muscle to put everyone who opposes Vyran in their place.
- Has developed a taste for bitter greenery. For Vespires there is plenty of food in Benelaire, but there is not much greenery growing near it, so food for Pouflons tend to be pretty nasty.
Childhood best friend
Akia
Akia had been the only friend Thistle had since Blanche was a bit to young for him to actually be friends with. They got along really well, and Thislte has adored him even till this day. Unknown to Akia, Thistle's affection for him made him do some harmful things in his life. Besides that, his solution to protect Akia isn't anything the other would want, Thistle is very controlling towards friends and is convinced he knows best.

Vyranthir
There isn't much Thistle wouldn't do for Vyran, and the other knows it and uses it well. Vyran has been the one to give him direction in his new life and a future to look forward to. Thistle is aware that Vyran doesn't hold the same love for Tourbillon Pouflons, but the solution he has to keep these Pouflons out of their way is the same that keeps them out of the war, so Thistle completely agrees with his methods. For Vyran, Thistle is one of the Pouflons he considers a friend and trustworthy, and he knows just how his friend thinks.
Enemy
Myth
Thistle used to be close with Myth, seeing him like a brother in arms. Both share the same ability and have mixed traits. But through their lives in Benelaire, Myth wasn't always willing to hurt others. His emphaty was considered a weakness by Thistle. Things got really sour when Myth started questioning Vyran's ideas for the future and the way he operates. Vyran decided to have a word with Myth when Thistle said that Myth was getting a bit 'confused', and Myth left.
