"Eight, don't forget to be careful with the people you flirt with. Not only for our organization's sake, but... For your own."
Sigrid's Eight's employer within the hitman business, and granted him his faceless curse, as well as picking him off the street and granting him enough funds to rise in society. While Sigrid often sees Eight as one of the rowdy of her hitmen, she's very fond of him in an almost motherly way. She's one of the few people not afraid to criticize him when he acts out, and can be seen very occasionally as a patreon of The Cue Ball.
8's sigh hangs heavily on the air, an eyeroll evident only on his voice. "Fiiiiiiine, whatever you say Mom." 8 was rescued from a difficult predicament and initiated into Sigrid's squad of Murder Menâ„¢ with no difficulties. His noncommittal, slippery nature made him perfect for the job. In spite of his evasive personality, Sigrid finds no issue relying on him for a clean kill and a job well done. He's as loyal to her as it gets-- his life has only improved since his "rebirth" and he owes her a veritable amount. 8 would sigh, griping and playing up an "inconvenienced teenager" attitude towards her, but it's to mask the genuine emotion he feels towards her-- something that isn't common for the morally and emotionally bankrupt assassin.
"Her textiles are some of the most skillfully made that I've seen, and as someone who is well aware of the nature of Savnic... I can applaud her decision to get away from it, if not having wanted to follow that path myself, once..."
Respects Rye greatly as an artisan and as someone who got out of the endless cycle of Savnic fame and corruption, and owns quite a few of her textiles (often wearing them as scarves). Has no clue that Rye is also 'LIEF'- has consumed a few of her poems without knowing that LIEF and Rye are one and the same.
"Frequent supporter of my textiles. Always leaves a tip. I'm ever so impressed by her dedication towards genuine charity work. Oh, if only I could have seen her shows when they were airing..."
Sig's one of Rye's most frequent/reoccurring customers; the two met through the general rich and powerful meetups that are oh so common in Savnic. Wishes she could've seen some of Sigrid's shows when she actively sang, but enjoys her patronage to her craft. Completely unaware of anything Sig does beyond their professional patron/artist relationship.
"The exact type of savnic filth that I've had the misfortune to live through myself, but.. We actually had an order on him, but apparently now he merely hides and cries, and in spite of what he's done to others' sense of self worth, compared to others... If only everyone like him could have any sense of self-reflection. Some part of me even sympathizes with the state he's in. Ironic, isn't it."
"W-WHO? WAIT, is she the one who sent that one cat ONTO MY ROOF IN THE MORNING WHO SAID HE HAD A HIT ON ME? I-I... I know I did some bad things, but that's a LITTLE bit too far, d-don't you think..... P... Please just let me sit here and think about what I've done... It's already a lot to handle...."
"Four is a beloved member of my hitmen, and anyone who misjudges them has an incredibly poor taste of character. They're delightful."
While Sigrid will never fully admit it out loud, she has a soft spot for Four especially due to their continued judgement from ongoing crowds (this is the same for every other hitcat, but perhaps more so towards Four as. Well. Four visibly looks scary). Often indulges in his jokes in her reserved but very loving ways. Baby boy baby.
thats my MOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"6's work is impeccable. Her skill is undeniable, as well as her steadfast attitude. However, I do believe that she often holds back on how actually comfortable she feels- as a result, I do my best to try and give her the space she needs. Anyone else should do the same."
Sigrid has a great amount of respect for Six- especially due to Six's past, Sig tries to ensure that Six feels welcome, but also comfortable. This includes giving her space, but always being an open ear for Six- of course, since the hitcats are a weird family of sorts, avoiding discomfort isn't always possible, but Sigrid tries her best.
Treats Sigrid with a ton of respect as the leader of the group and the one who got 6 off the streets. She's still unsure how to respond to Sigrid's motherly affection.
"Keep up the good work, 2, but ensure you don't strain yourself too hard."
Sigrid is well aware of Two's mild nihilism, especially due to their situation: as a result, Sigrid is sure to try and encourage them, as well as acknowledging that Two's feelings are fully understandable, considering their situation. However, she mostly allows for One to act more- her reserved nature isn't as effective in terms of bright, frequent encouragement versus something more subdued.
"Always, if you need any of my help, do not hesitate to ask. I hope you stay safe in all of your endeavours."
Of all the hitcats, Sig does seem to find a lot of herself in Seven: the understanding that greed and cruelty is what drives the both of them to do what they do, and the passion they both have for finding justice, even if, said justice is accomplished in more.. Uncanny ways. As a result, Sig also understands Seven is one of the far more independent of her hitcats, especially due to his own ambitions- if anything, she wishes he stays safe himself in his own endeavours, and is always happy when he comes around.
No one is innocent, right? I don't see any point in trying to 'only kill the bad ones' or how Sigrid manages to distinguish them, but I'm happy to trust her judgement.
(I think I'm one of the problem cats...)
"You know that you're dear to my heart, don't you? I'm so proud of who you've become."
"I'd die for you, Sigrid. I also know you'd do the same for me. Thank you for everything you've done."
I was adrift, for lack of a better word. Sigrid... she understands what I lost; a purpose, the thing that made you feel whole. Important. Special. Misery and company, etc, you know how it goes.
