Time Beam!

Incredibly mysterious and scary, Vector is rumored to be the inventor of time travel, or at least the one who discovered how to do it. She doesn't give out her secrets to just anyone, and the few rare time travelers scattered throughout Silvarum have paid a heavy price for their powers.

Vector was the one who found the power of time travel in Silvarum. She was exploring some ruins and came across the Blue - a strange, silver pocket watch that always glowed blue. At first she kept it to herself but then people found out about it and several parts of it fractured off. One part went to Basil, who had good intentions - but the other went to Malorin, the darkness of Silvarum. Malorin knew that the powers of time travel would let him overtake all three kingdoms, so he went on a chase to get the other two parts.

In order to beat Malorin, Vector and Basil travel throughout time, giving pieces of the Blue to various people they think are trustworthy, to ensure that Malorin never is able to find all the pieces.While they're gone Malorin takes over Vector's town, Skybright, so they end up having to fight Malorin at the top of the largest tower. Malorin claims he has a bomb that will destroy the whole town if they try to kill him, so Basil does the brash thing and rushes forward, grabs the bomb and Malorin, and teleports to a different place, a different time. Then it explodes. Malorin escapes, but Basil doesn't - he becomes a ghost, but decides not to let anyone know.

Vector ends up settling down in Skybright until one day these three strange figures arrive in town. They're causing mischief, telling ridiculous jokes, and - surprisingly - actually helping people out in their own strange way. She runs headfirst into one of the three. He tells her his name - Crackle. They fall in love (much to the chagrin of Snap and Hop, the other two of the three) and soon enough they have three kids.
