ideas:

• keeps the shadowed lands 'safe' from unwanted guests. Then again, safe is relative
• likes shadows and isn't the best with bright light
• bad eyesight but he hasn't gotten glasses because he thinks that would ruin his cool looks
• very hissy laugh. laughs at everything. until he realizes that someone's watching, then he awkwardly stops and tries to regain his composure and his dignity.
• he has a bit of a hiss come through his voice every time he says an S sound in a word. it's an unfortunate snakey habit.

Story update: Malorin found him in the shadowed lands and got him to work for him. Eventually he managed to get away, and now lives in the town of Skybright.
