Mittrei Mothman

You know how after the Silver Bridge collapsed in West Virginia, the elusive Mothman disappeared from the public eye, never to be seen again?

Actually, he came to Indieville.

Thankfully, none of the citizens were snitches, and so the Mothman remained unthreatened and unbothered, free to live his life. Also he had a kid at one point? The literally unnamed child looked uncannily like you made a mothman gijinka. So, apparently, there was a human, shapeshifter, or witch in the mix somewhere there? But Mothman doesn’t kiss and tell, which is to say, the child never knew their other parent.

And then Mothman left too.

That left the child young and alone, and after a while, they decided to travel as well, in search of Papa Mothman. It was then that they really discovered themselves, and pop culture as well. They even gave themselves a name based in part of a family of actors and actresses, christening themselves Mittrei Oberon Tiresias Hurricane Merasmus Aisling November Mothman… or Mitt, for short!

Their craft of fortune telling came naturally to them, as fitting their parent, and they honed their craft traveling around the United States, telling fortunes in various ways, though they found tarot to be their favorite.

But eventually, after years and years and still no Papa Mothman in sight, they return to Indieville, maybe not with the intent to settle down quite yet, but perhaps putting their sights on something else, at least for now.
