About

Sasu is highly individualistic and competitive. They are a rather adept liar, but mostly do it to get away from sticky situations or to help their brother Evren. Also a massive dork and a sassmaster when the situation calls for it. Sasu enjoys socializing, particularly if alcohol is involved. Even though their alcohol tolerance is high getting drunk is no problem, but Sasu does fret over the money lost in the process (this is no problem if someone else pays for the drinks. You can get them really drunk if you want to). Sasu's secretive ways have gotten them in trouble more often than not but the art of running away has been perfected in the hands of Sasu and Evren. With no real home apart from their aunt's residence, Sasu travels a lot and often makes their brother promise a place for Sasu too whenever Evren uses his charms to get a place to sleep(among other things).

Despite often running away, Sasu is brave and will stand up for themselves when the need arises. And they do get a thrill out of a good fight, honestly. Just not an unfair one. Even though Sasu does not fare that well in fistfights, they have a great aim and some mage's skills which help. Their work ethics as mercenary would not be the best in someone's opinion, as Sasu is liable to betray their employer for a larger sum of money.

Their alchemy skills are not yet the greatest, using them mostly for mundane potions. With a little more experience Sasu might get much better at poisons too, but they are not willing to try the potions on anyone they care about, including themselves. The experimentation has already left Sasu with a raspier voice and bad hearing so they don't want to risk too much more.

Appearance

Sasu is a tall, brown skinned half-elf with amber eyes, thin eyebrows and slightly grayish brown short hair. Their ears are pointed, but only slightly longer than an average human's. Both ears have two golden earrings. Sasu's rather muscular body is covered in moles, from face to feet, but clothes hide most of that anyhow. The most seen moles reside on their face, two next to their left eye and another on the right cheek. When Sasu smiles wide, they have noticeable dimples. 

Most people do not see the difference in Sasu's expressions when they lie or joke (with the exception of sarcasm and sass), but Sasu has a hard time keeping a straight face when trying to pull their brother's leg.

Sasu wears very covering clothes, and most of the time some armor. They also carry around an array of throwing knives, a wooden staff and a bag full of various alchemist's supplies.

Background

Sasu, along with their brother, was born to a human mother and wood-elf father. Hilarity ensued when their father was not aware of the differences of human and wood-elf pregnancies, but the pair still managed to raise the bundles before their unexplained disappearance when the kids were about three years old. From that point on their city-elf aunt Nilofer took care of them, teaching many things. Sasu takes their love of alcohol, especially whiskey, after their aunt.

The siblings were absolute rascals when little, but gladly didn't get to any serious trouble. Mudbaths and wrestling happened often, and due to this (and Nilofer's teachings) both have been rather adept at fighting from a young age, though Sasu slightly less than their brother. This weighed on Sasu's mind for a while, so they buried their nose in books and got interested in the fields of magic and alchemy. They were not at all adept at magic at first, and still know very basic spells, but alchemy was a field that allowed a lot of experimentation so Sasu had a total field day with trying out different methods and potions with a tiny alchemy kit. Quite often they used Evren and themself as quinea pigs especially for the more harmless potions. Poison and other things were mostly used with varying degrees of success on people Sasu didn't like. They're glad nobody died in these experiments. Except maybe the hated people.

At the ripe age of around 20 Sasu decided to give adventuring a try and parted ways with Evren, seeking different things. What they found, rather than the money and glory they wanted, was love. Sasu fell for a mysterious and funny human girl called Chandra, who kept Sasu's bad habits mostly in check. During this time, Sasu worked at an alchemist's shop and had access to better tools than before, improving their skills. After a few months into the relationship, it dawned on Sasu that Chandra had not told everything about her identity. Chandra was forced to confess that she was a daughter of a noble but hated family and some thugs in town were after her. Sasu was not there to protect Chandra when the thugs attacked on a normal day, and Chandra suffered a violent end in their hands. Obviously saddened, they fled the city when the same thugs decided to get their debts from Sasu's employer, and rejoined with their aunt and brother.

Later on, Sasu and Evren took on adventuring together, becoming mercenaries and a great team, gathering at least some wealth for themselves. The mischievous duo stir up more trouble than they're worth, Sasu with their lies and Evren with his... questionable bed partners. They have earned a reputation as troublemaker mercenaries who still do their job well (if paid well). Sasu has taken the habit of keeping record of towns they won't be welcome in for a while, but it seems there are exes of Evren in every town they go to so some things are unavoidable.

• Sasu is ambidextrous, but if swordfighting would rather choose the right hand and while writing uses the left.
• It is apparent that Sasu and Evren do not fair well without each other; while apart, both suffer trauma.
• Sasu and Evren do not know which of them is older then the other, and their "birthday" 10.10. is the day Nilofer found them.
• Sasu's theme songs include HUH by 4minute and Change by HyunA. I also highly associate the siblings with this particular cover of Royals by Pentatonix.

Relationships

Evren [ brother ]

Best bruh ever. Though Sasu enjoys trying to fool their brother a lot of the time, it is always in good nature. Sasu truly cares about Evren, even chasing after people who have hurt him. They have a neat dynamic but can sometimes be a little too dependent on one saving the other's ass. At least it works both ways.

Chandra  [ ex ]

Ex-lover. Chandra is as much of a liar as Sasu and so their relationship, while loving, wasn't on a good base. Chandra's death left Sasu with an even more vengeful spirit than before. They have yet to get hold of the thugs who killed her.

Nilofer  [ aunt ]

Nilofer is Sasu and Evren's aunt and takes care of the little rascals a lot. How much of the things they taught them actually stuck with them is still questionable, seeing how "well" these two actually behave. Nilofer also helps the siblings whenever they can't help each other. They absolutely love them.

Eamonn  [ colleague/ex boss ]

The alchemist employer Sasu had for a while in the city. These two are quite friendly to each other. Sasu was amused when they met again later and Ea and Evren ended up in bed together, though considering those two's habits it wasn't that big of a surprise. These are actually the only instances Sasu and Ea have been in contact so far.

Luukas  [ ex ]

A brief fling in the town Sasu and Evren stayed in after the events of Lightbringers. Whenever Sasu was not helping their injured brother they spent some time with Luukas. The two are on good terms but ended the relationship when everyone parted ways. Sasu is very thankful to Luukas for saving everyone's lives.

Lightbringers group  [ adventuring party ]

Mostly, everyone in the party seemed rather ok, even though the start was very rocky. Sasu had gotten to know Vincent beforehand but their opinion formed more during the campaign from a lost puppy with lots of money to a lovesick fool with lots of money. They are secretly kind of jealous of how easy it is for Evren to manipulate the small elf. They hold a slight grudge towards Rosa for injuring both Sasu and their brother, but otherwise doesn't think much of her. Mostly because she doesn't seem beneficial in other ways than her strength(and Evren already provides a lot of that). Anan on the other hand became an actual friend to them, and they hope to meet again sometime. Anan's taste of humor is rather close to Sasu's which in turn helped them along the way.
