Angeon

Angeon are a commonly canine- or feline-like species with a "Projection" floating above their backs.  This Projection has a large gem-like structure and a pair of wings, most commonly.  Each Angeon has an element, which is reflected in their core and powers.

Most Angeon can explore the angelic and demonic realms, but Dark Angeon can only explore the demonic realm.

Elements: Fire, Water, Nature, Air, Ice, Volt, Light, Dark.  Each element has its own exploration areas with their own drops.

Their cores can be damaged, and will generally regenerate over time.  It is rare for an Angeon to have a Projection which is unable to fully regenerate, as these Angeon are less powerful and, if not protected, often die.

Angeon in the human realm can be collared by a human.  Their collar has the magical property of bringing them back to their human to rest in the human realm if their Projection is damaged too severely.  

Angeon will sometimes travel to the human realm to grant blessings or cause mischief, depending on their element.

Angeon show up randomly in the human realm (up to 3 at a time per week) and if a user has an Angeon collar, they can try to collar the character.  If collaring is successful, the character will be added to their account and await certing.  Once a week has passed, any Angeon which showed up that week which weren't collared will leave.

Angeon which show up in the human realm will list a short, randomly generated description of the character, and give the option to use collars, as well as the effectiveness of said collars on each character.
