{short bio}
"Now, now.  Be presentable, Theodore."

Such are the words that have chased Theodore's whole life, being the hybrid that he is.  Such are the words that haunted him, whenever he peered under his shirt to watch his spots multiply, blemishes that he desperately tried to cover up with clothing and necklaces and gloves.  It didn't matter that he was the first in four generations of his mother's line to have spots appear on his skin.  He had to blend in, no matter what -- that was what his family had taught him, but to what end? Even being an upper-class citizen born to a human father couldn't shake off the tales that would follow him and his twin sister.  The pressure made him commit everything to memory.  How to carry on a proper speech, how to make someone laugh or frown, how to entertain the guests, even how to hold a cup of tea, all in the name of appeasing the humans that would ogle him with their dumbfounded faces.  Oh, how he was sick of seeing their faces.  But everything was always how Father said it had to be.  Father isn't home, so you can't go out.  Father is a powerful businessman always focused on maintaining his jewelry company, he doesn't have a lot of time for children. Father said you had to learn how to negotiate like an adult, not play in the hallways like a child. Father this, father that - all excuses for something Theodore saw very clearly - a man trying to slip away from the rest of his family - a family whose struggles he didn't care to know.  He watched mother quietly look out the window too many times, always waiting.  He hated him, hated how he ignored them, almost like he was too good for them, while letting all the dinner guests stare and scowl and slander.  So it was no surprise that this, then, ended up in the biggest screaming match their family had ever had, where he let everything come spilling out. He had screamed, and screamed, and screamed, and it was met with screams back.  And then, when the dust had settled, his father had come to a silent ultimatum.

"We need to teach you a lesson."

And just like that, he was shipped away without a second thought.  They already had his twin sister in case he went rogue, anyway -- and here, he would finally learn something father thought valuable, after all those years.  But it wouldn't change a thing for Theodore.  He wanted his revenge. After all, thanks to all the 'little' things Father ignored, he didn't even know who he was anymore.

{trivia}

Fun Fact #1: His mother still writes him letters regularly.  For all intents and purposes, sending him to the Academy was a move made by his father to 'ground' him.  He still has access to certain luxuries that are becoming of the heir to a jewelry company - such as a discount on said jewelry - but obviously, the prices are much too expensive for him even to have the pocket money to afford something like that.
Fun Fact #2: Theodore isn't particularly fond of animals, but they crowd around him anyway.  It is an annoyance to someone so used to being prim and proper most of the time.
Fun Fact #3: Theodore uses his choker and a medium-to-long sleeved shirt to cover his spots, which he is fairly insecure about.  He has some spots on his forehead as well, but most of them are covered by his hair.
Fun Fact #4: His tail is very large and fluffy, and his biggest pet peeve is anyone touching it.
Fun Fact #5: He carried a snow leopard mask from home that he uses whenever there's a masquerade.
