Carlos has always had an intense passion for music ever since he was a young kid. Him and his brother, Eduardo, ran away from home as teens to pursue a musical career and met Barry. Carlos is paralyzed from the waist down and has to wear a brace on his right arm due to being involved in a fatal car crash in the late 1970s. This is also the same crash that took the life of Ed.

Nowadays, Carlos spends time with Barry when he isn't working.
