Jace Campbell

Jace Campbell is a likeable, charismatic dweeby young man who works as a freelance creative consultant in an ad agency. He is also the Vermilion Vanguard, the quippy cocksure superhero defender of the city of Trentford. He possesses most of the archetypal powers of a flying brick (super strength, super senses, superhuman reflexes, some modicum of super speed, flight, general invulnerability) but due to having hyperopia does not have laser vision, which he's sort of upset with because of how useful it happens to be. He is a glib and charismatic social expert who can deduce behavioral cues and manipulate people (more often than not supervillains). As the Vanguard, he is popular with a lot of people, especially with kids. As Jace, he can generally be trusted around young people by his peers.
