Intro
Yukari Kouseki (鉱石 由香利 Kouseki Yukari) is a stubborn and sarcastic girl with a "no risk - no fun" - attitude. She is attending Yuuei to become a Pro-Hero despite her family strictly being against it. Although looking like a girly girl, her personality and hobbies are rather tomboyish. Yukari is a loudmouth and troublemaker who claims that she did not wake up to be mediocre. She is willing to choose complicated paths to reach her goal. Even though she is aware of dangers and risks, she is excited instead of being scared. Being the headstrong and determined person she is, Yukari is searching for new challenges and wants to master them, unfortunately also becoming extremely reckless while doing so.
Yukari wants to prove that taking risks and choosing difficult paths are worth it and that someone should always go for what makes them happy - no matter how hard it might be.

On first sight Yukari appears to be an easy-going person who is cheeky and direct. This in combination with her calm demeanor makes it hard for others to take her off guard or to upset her. She is rarely short for an answer, easily coming up with smart comments or silly jokes and puns. Sometimes her jokester attitude brings her into trouble, having cracked a joke at the wrong time only drawing to her when it already happend.
Despite enjoying to tease people on a daily basis; Yukari has in fact a caring and protective side, though not visible at first. Being overly secretive, she has a hard time trusting others which causes her to be more distant to her classmates than it seems to be on the surface.
Because of Yukari's cheerful persona some people mistake her for being carefree, air-headed and naive. However, as a matter of fact, she is very ambitious; especially at studies, practical training and hero specific classes, looking up to people who are as passionate as her. She is also shown to be an adventurous and witty girl who enjoys challenges. Thus, Yukari is not afraid of taking risks even if they often lead her into troublesome situations, resulting in others to constantly worry about her and her reckless actions.
Later on it is seen that Yukaris hidden feelings are more troubled than her cheerful attitude gives away. She hides her real emotions and inner conflicts beneath her jokes, sarcasm and teasing. Because of being much different than the rest of her family Yukari felt disconnected since a young age, not being able to meet the wishes of her mother like her sister did. Coming from a non-hero household and a family that was against her wishes to attend U.A., she developed an immense amount of stubbornness when it comes to proving that she is fit to be a pro hero; always giving it her all, regardless of the consequences that it may hold for her own well being. This is shown when Yukari is recklessly running straight into dangerous situations and often exaggerating during fights by crossing her limits. Feeling the need to prove herself as an hero she is very hard on herself while being more understanding towards others.
It is possible to get a glimpse of Yukari's real feelings and hidden side of her personality when it comes to fights, training sessions or serious situations in general, as she will not be able to put on an act then. When these occasions are given she will stop joking around and concentrate on what is happening around her. That is when her determination and will to become an hero can be clearly seen. Nonetheless people will also notice that she gets overhasty during fights and that something troubles her.
Family
Yukari's family has their own independent business called "Kouseki's Jewels". It belongs to one of the biggest jeweler's shops in the whole country and already exists since generations. Their business is very successful, famous and well known for its high quality. It is a tradition that the children take over the shop when their parents reach a certain age or die. Therefore the future job of the offspring was decided right away without any further discussions, leaving no room for other plans apart from working there.
The Kouseki jewelry-business has a license from the country and thus, they are allowed to work with their quirks to create crystals, gemstones and diamonds for their jewelry and sell those.
Since the Kouseki-family takes much pride in their shop, the parents usually want their children to marry someone who has a suiting quirk for their business. This is one of the reasons why Yukari's mom Yumi married Hisashi who has a Diamond Creation Quirk. Yumis parents approved the marriage even though Yumi was not ready for it back then.
Early Childhood
Yukari was born in Chiba, Japan and grew up with her parents and an older sister called Yuriko in a middle-sized apartment next to an harbor. Ever since Yukari could think she spent her childhood in her family's shop for jewelry and doesn't remember a time where she didn't have anything to do with its business.
Even before her quirk manifested she had to listen to her mother's long lessons about Physics and Chemistry, as it was important for Yukari to know a lot about atoms, ions and molecules to use her Crystallization quirk properly later on. Thus, she had to study these subjects regularly by reading scientific books to expand her knowledge. Back then Yukari did as her mother told her, not wanting to be a disappointment.
Unlike her older sister Yuriko, Yukari has always been a troublesome child who developed an interest for adventures and fighting early. Her father Hisashi often said that she was desperately searching for something exciting to escape the boredom at home and the routine from their family's shop. His wife Yumi just ignored his words and didn't want to hear more, always telling him to keep quiet and trust her authoritarian education methods. One day Yukari sneaked out of her family's house to play on the playground with the neighbors children called Shimo and Raiu Inazuma.
After a few months they established a close bond and friendship with each other. Yukari started to develop a feeling of belonging somewhere since she realized that her friends accepted her the way she was, resulting in Yukari becoming happier and showing more emotions when Shimo and Raiu were around. Because of them Yukari came in touch with comic books about heroes and started to read many of them, developing more and more interest for heroes as time passed by. Shimo's and Raiu's older sister Kori also inspired Yukari a lot since she was a famous pro-hero herself and worked hard for her goal.
Quirk Manifestion
Yukari's quirk manifested at the age of four when she was in charge of keeping the shop clean and had to organize various jewelry in the shop's shelves. Due to her quirk manifesting all of a sudden, and Yukari not having seen it coming, she accidentally manipulated the crystals consistency. The young girl panicked and tried to return the crystals and gemstones to their former state, but instead of fixing what happened she just made it worse - she shot the crystals and gemstones through the room, making them break apart and destroying all the shelves with its fragments. Due to the loud noise her mother stormed into the room and got angry, yelling at her daughter for causing so much damage and destroying all the beautiful jewelry which could have been sold off for an huge amount of money. Yukari was terrified by her mothers words who talked her down while saying in a desperate tone that anything Yukari can do is to destroy and that something like that never happened with Yuriko, as the latter one could control her quirk well.
Childhood
Because of Yumis huge disappointment, Yukari's self-esteem shrank immediately. She started to feel jealous of Yuriko since her mother said how perfect she was in controlling her quirk and always did her job right unlike her. Due to that Yukari spent most of her time alone, not even wanting to see her friends anymore. Whenever there were family reunions Yukari was treated as the black sheep of the family. She knew that she was a misfit and also felt that way. Her cousins and other relatives looked down on her and criticized anything she said to defend herself.
Nonetheless Yukari realized that she didn't feel the same joy as her sister when she worked in the shop and that she doesn't want to continue to do something what doesn't truly make her happy. Yukari continued reading scientific books to have better control over her quirk, though she decided to do it for herself and not for her mother or anyone else. In addition she set herself a goal - to find something what will fulfill her instead of forcing herself to be the perfect daughter for her mom. A few weeks later Yukari decided that she wants to become a pro-hero and worked even harder for it.
Shimo and Raiu played an huge role to get Yukari out of her hole, also offering her to train with them together so that they would be able to attend U.A. High in the future. Due to the Inazuma siblings coming from a family with pro-heroes, their parents usually trained together with them and included Yukari while doing so. Because of that Yukari learned fighting techniques from an early age on and had a clearer picture of the duties of heroes.
Middle School
Yukari had a difficult start at Middle School due to having had a closed-off personality and not wanting to socialize with most of her classmates since she was scared of trusting other people. She used to be a person who was difficult to approach, almost always ignoring students who wanted to talk to her or at least trying to do so. It slowly became better after Shimo encouraged her to just keep a conversation when she meets someone with similar interests and to crack some jokes here and there. Yukari took the advice to her heart and gained confidence, eventually befriending some people.
On one hand Yukari was still secretive and hid her inner conflicts all the time, but on the other hand she became more easy-going and talkative, even approaching people herself. Eijirou Kirishima became her closest friend at the end of their second year which had an huge positive impact on the pink-haired girl. They supported each other in achieving their dreams and also studied for upcoming exams together. During this time Shimo was already a student at Yuuei due to being one year older than Yukari. Nevertheless, they had less contact than before and Yukari was disappointed when she got to know that Shimo slacked off due to his laziness and loss of passion.
At the end of Yukaris last year at Middle School she developed into a rebellious and brave person who was determined to enroll into U.A. High, being more stubborn about it than she ever was. Although her mother forbid it clearly she still didn't hesitate to apply for the Hero Academy and trained till late in the evening for the entrance exam.

- Yukari makes use of irony and hyperboles when joking around or commenting on something. She loves to playfully over-dramatize things and use quotes from movies and books.
- Whenever people start to talk about personal matters; as for example family concerns, and ask Yukari about it, she will either crack jokes and puns to distract them or make a plan up to change the topic quickly.
- Because of her stubborness and ambition she trains and exercises regularly to improve as much as possible. Yukari is often overworking herself though.

Hobbies
- Soccer: When Yukari was younger she loved to play soccer with Shimo and her father Hisashi together. She used to be a quite good player, but after setting herself the goal to become a Pro-Hero she barely had time to play it again. As a result Yukari became a bit out of practice.
- Video Games: Yukari enjoys Action Games, mostly Jump and Run ones and similar genres. She has no problem with more brutal games - as for example where gore and blood are included, and plays them too.
- Comic Magazines: Ever since her childhood Yukari loves reading comic magazines about heroes, admiring heroic characters and taking them as her role-models. She has an huge comic book collection which is hidden in a box under her bed.
- Martial Arts: Yukari practiced MMA with Shimo and his father when she was younger and knows many moves and strategies. At some point she stopped training with them and continued to exercise alone while reading books or watching tutorials to improve her skills. Later on, she trains with Masae together who has more experience than her.
- Singing: Ever since her childhood Yukari enjoyed singing. She never sang in front of other people though and keeps the hobby for herself, as she is actually unsure if her voice really sounds that good.
- Cooking: Due to her mothers request, Yukari had to learn cooking a few years ago. She developed some decent cooking-skills and can prepare easy, Japanese dishes without problems.

EXPLANATION
Yukari's quirk allows her to create, form and move crystals in various shapes and sizes by either touching the ground or focusing on the place where she wants her crystals to appear. She can manipulate crystals and crystalline materials. At first Yukari was only able to create crystals from the ground and shape them in various ways - for example to cage her opponents in or to attack them; while increasing the speed of her creations.
DEVELOPMENT
As time passes by Yukari learns new methods in how to use her quirk - like creating crystals in mid-air and making them float. She can use floating crystals as stepping stones or even "fly" on them to attack from above. In addition she is able to shoot crystals at her opponents or to build walls out of crystals to trap them in. Creating shields and other objects out of crystals - to protect and defend herself - are also possible options.
FUTURE
Over the years Yukari masters to create more crystals at once. They also become harder to break as she keeps strengthening her quirk by regular training. Yukari keeps learning new and more complicated moves. Nonetheless, Yukari didn't only inherit her mother's quirk, but also her fathers. Thanks to his quirk which is "Diamond Creation" she is actually able to create and manipulate diamonds as well. However, she didn't get the perfect hang of it yet as it is much more complicated, but will eventually master it in the far future.

LIMITATIONS
- The more crystals Yukari creates the more concentration she needs. If she is not concentrated enough her creations will be easier to destroy and she will have difficulties in controlling them. Creating diamonds requires even more energy and concentration. Moreover Yukari needs more time whenever she wants to create more complex structures out of her crystals - and even more time when it comes to diamonds.
- To use her quirk properly Yukari has to consume much more vitamins and minerals than a regular person would need to. Thus, she is eating as healthy as possible, especially meals and dishes with lots of vitamins and minerals. She is constantly carrying various dietary supplements with herself. If she didn't consume enough vitamins and nurtrients there is a risk that she will faint after using her quirk.
- She has an harder time to move or manipulate crystals which she didn't create by herself. Accordingly she will also run out of stamina sooner.
- If she creates too many objects and structures at once she will get massive headache afterwards or even back out. It depends on how many objects she created and on how large and complex they were.
- Yukari may be able to create diamonds as well, but unlike when it comes her crystals she is not able to create a bigger amount of them at once, or at least not yet.
First Hero Costume
Yukari wears her first hero costume during her first year at U.A. and changes it later on when she becomes a 2nd year student due to wanting a change, as well as new features. Mei Hatsume helps her to invent new features for her second hero costume.
GLASSES
Yukari's glasses do not only protect her eyes from dust, fragments or other things, but also increase her eyesight. Thus, she can use her quirk better for wide-range attacks or recognize possible danger earlier.
SCARF
The scarf only exists for style purposes and doesn't have a special function. Yukari doesn't wear it on warmer days.
MATERIAL
Yukari's costume consists of blank pants with purple forms and a suiting sleeveless shirt. The clothes might be tight on her skin, but are comfortable. The material itself is also elastic and even heat resistent.
PATRONS
Yukari wears four patrons around her belt which have a light pink color and are filled with special chemical material. Two patrons are filled with a mineral mixture which help Yukari to use her quirk for a longer time and for a bigger extent without affecting her stamina or vitamin balance.
The other two patrons are filled with a special substance as well, but have different functions: They help Yukari to strengthen her crystals or to keep them strong even if she loses some of her concentration during a fight.
BAGS Yukari carries the most important things in her bags, such as a small first-aid kit and various dietary supplements.
BAGS Yukaris boots consist of a strong, but yet light material. They are quite bouncy so that she can jump and run better in them.
Katsuki Bakugou Friend, Crush
At the beginning Katsuki got utmost annoyed at Yukari's sarcastic comments and jokes, mockingly calling her "Wannabe Comedian" and thinking she wouldn't be serious about becoming an hero. Their relationship only started to get better once Katsuki realized that she's in truth an ambitious person who is smart and does work hard for her goal. After developing respect for her and discovering some similarities; as for example their strong will and passion for fighting, they slowly developed a friend-like relationship since Katsuki also saw that Yukari was genuine about her interest in him. He appreciates how easy-going and calm she is, as he can talk to her about anything while Yukari doesn't get hurt by his harsh words or rudeness. However, whenever she acts like a jokester to hide her serious and thoughtful self, Katsuki easily gets angry again and confronts Yukari, making her finally face these things and becoming more sincere instead of putting her mask on. Eijioru Kirishima Best Male Friend
Eijirou and Yukari first interacted with each other in Middle School when Eijirou watched the trailer of an action movie on his mobile phone during school break. Yukari started to talk to him right afterwards. She enjoys their conversations, especially because they share the same enthusiasm when it comes to superheroes or heroism in general. Thus, they often talk about comic magazines, martial arts and fighting techniques. Due to their similar interests they easily became close friends. Sometimes they would also talk about their role-models while encouraging each other in achieving their goals.
Denki Kaminari Friend
Yukari finds it amusing to playfully mock Denki until he gets confused and doesn't know what to say. Along with Jirou they poke fun at him at various occasions, causing the boy to get slightly frustrated. There are also times where Denki and Yukari are seen to joke around together. Yukari likes that Denki is always attentive when she's telling him one of her infamous puns. It even boosts her confidence whenever he laughs at them which causes Yukari to crack even more jokes, leaving both of them laughing while holding their stomach. The people around them are usually irritated by it, especially since they seem to have like thousand insiders.
Shoto Todoroki Friend
Shoto's and Yukari's relationship started off as awkward, at least for Yukari's side. When she told him a joke and started to laugh because of it he remained completely silent and did not show any kind of reaction, causing Yukari to feel weird afterwards. It is seen that she is unsure in how to interact with Shoto. However, whenever they have to team up for a fight or training session they work well together and don't have any problems with communicating since Yukari is serious in such situations. During seasons two their relationship gets better, especially because Shoto becomes more sociable and gains some sense for humor. Upon getting to know each other's family situations they start to sympathize with each other, as they both have a parent who wants to decide their future for them and keeps being persistent about it.
Izuku Midoriya Good Terms
At first Yukari mainly wondered why Izuku wasn't able to control his quirk yet and why it looked so much like All Mights, causing her to get curious and wanting to find out the reasons behind all these things. Izuku would often get shocked by Yukaris blunt way of talking, as she is always getting straight to the point and doesn't hesitate to ask him if she is curious about something, such as his quirks resemblance to All Mights. Similar to Yukaris relationship with Eijirou she bond with Izuku over their enthusiasm when it comes to heroes. In addition both admire All Might since their childhood and have a similar opinion about what the essence of a true hero should be. Because of that they get along well and seem to build a friendship.
Emilia Yukimura Bestie
Emilia and Yukari befriended each other at Yuuei due both of them attending class 1-A. They didn't have any problems in getting along and are often seen spending time together. Yukari likes to playfully tease Emilia while the latter one always tries to find something to take her friend off guard. Sometimes Emilia gets slightly frustrated as it is somewhat difficult to really tease Yukari. Yukari on the other hand is happy that she found someone as supportive as Emilia because they can always mess around together, but also trust the other with serious personal matters. As a team they work very well, having quirks which balance each others out.
Aki Uneono Partner in Crime
Aki reminded Yukari of herself back then in Middle School where she used to be more closed off and socially awkward as well. Because of this, Yukari was able to relate to Aki and was curious about her. She didn't have difficulties approaching, and later on - befriending Aki. They developed a close friendship as the anime progresses and are often seen spending time with the other. Due to both of them being ambitious and taking heroism seriously, they get along even better and sometimes train together. They like to go shopping after school ends and were even seen borrowing each others clothes. Yukari comically calls herself "a bad influence" because Aki became more sarcastic after spending time with her. Their friendship is very supportive and full of laugher and random ideas which resulted in Yukari calling Aki her "Partner in Crime."
Shimo Inazuma Childhood friend
Shimo and Yukari have a close bond ever since their childhood where they often trained together. After Shimo lost his motivation to follow the path of an hero and became lazier, Yukari got very disappointed in him and thought he was being too harsh on himself while Shimo got annoyed at Yukari for being stubborn and getting extremely reckless because of her goals. They don't interact as much as they used to and rarely see each other at Yuuei either due to both of them being in different years. Later on; after the Internship Arc, their relationship becomes friendlier again as they understand each other's inner conflicts better. (Needs to be revamped)
Masae Nishimura Close friend
They met each other during the Sport Festival when Masae greeted the whole Class 1-A. Due to both of them being easy-going and talkative they didn't have any problems to get to know each other and became friends easily, often talking about action movies and comics. Masae admires Yukari for being that ambitious about becoming a pro-hero and likes to hear her opinion about different things while Yukari looks up to Masae when it comes to martial arts. Since the latter one is more experienced in MMA; Yukari likes to learn new things from her to improve her own skills. Sometimes they meet each other after school and pratice together. Yukari likes how respectful and caring Masae is. All in all they have a friendly and supportive friendship.
Hiwa Tamura Close friend
Hiwa and Yukari already met each other outside of U.A. High due to both of them living in Chiba. They got along well until Yukari started joking around while saying one sarcastic comment after another. Even though it was difficult for Hiwa to deal with Yukaris sarcasm, she overall felt comfortable around the pink-haired girl as it was otherwise easy to talk to her. At first Yukari didn't tell Hiwa the reasons why she was against working in her family's jewelry shop, avoiding the topic. This caused Hiwa to not understand Yukari's way of thinking, being confused. After Yukari started to trust and open up to Hiwa more, the latter understood it better and was surprised after finding out. Hiwa admires Yukaris engagement and strong will, finding it interesting how different she tinks from her. On the other side Yukari deeply respects Hiwa for being that honest and patient. They often talk during school breaks and exchange their knowledge about vitamin pills and dietary supplements after getting to know that both of them need to take a big amount of minerals to use their quirk properly. Their conversations about minerals and pills can easily be misunderstood though. This caused them to make fun of it by comically calling themselves "drug dealers" who try to find the best supplements possible.
Yumi Kouseki Mother
Their relationship was always complicated. Yumi is usually cold and distant to Yukari unlike to Yuriko. However, she actually does care equally about her children even if doesn't seem that way. She wants to protect both of them as much as possible, but is exaggerating while doing so, due to a tragic event in her past which traumatized her. She is overly protective and highly convinced that her solution options are the ideal ones for everyone and that nothing can go wrong if you aim for a stable life with a safe job choice, such as working in their family's shop. Thus, Yumi is not fond of Yukaris wish to become a Pro-Hero and tried to stop her from her plans to attend U.A. She cannot accept that her daughter wants to do such a dangerous job and thinks that it would be the best to live non-complicated life instead, just like the rest of their family. Yukari tried to explain that she has never been a fan of taking the safest and simplest route, as it doesn't necessarily makes you happy, but Yumi's opinion doesn't waver for a long time.
Hisashi Kouseki Father
Hisashi is most likely the only one in the family who is supportive towards Yukari. He told his daughter to not feel down by her mothers comments or whenever the latter one compared her to Yuriko. Whenever he didn't work he would spend time with Yukari and play soccer or watch action movies with her. Hisashi was amazed when she told him about her goal to become a pro hero because of how passionate she was about it. As a result Hisashi started to feel proud of his daughter and even encouraged her to chase after her dream which resulted in Yukari gaining more confidence. Nonetheless she will later on realize that her father is not the kind of person he pretended to be. Once Yukari finds out about Hisashi's secret and real occupation, her trust in him breaks apart and she becomes angry at him since he doesn't show the slightest bit of remorse - neither for lying nor for his terrible actions.
Yuriko Kouseki Older sister
Yuriko and Yukari have a strained relationship. Due to Yuriko enjoying her time in her Family's shop and being quite obedient she never had huge arguments with her mother unlike Yukari who constantly had her own ideas and sneaked out whenever she could, causing Yumi to get mad at her ever so often. Yukari was frustrated that her mother often wished that she would be more like Yuriko and felt like Yumi never listens to her fully. Yuriko describes Yukari as "fearless, but naive" and says that she's a child with foolish dreams while Yukari says that Yuriko is the definition of a "stickler". Despite thinking like that, Yuriko does care for Yukari and feels sorry for everything what happened. However, both of them don't know how to approach each other which causes them to have an awkward silence whenever they try to talk.

- Yukaris favourite dish is Okonomiyaki while her favorite drinks are Jasmine Tea and Raspberry Iced Tea.
- She loves playing video games in her free-time and is also seen to be quite good at them.
- Yukari's surname (鉱石) means "mineral' or "crystal" while her first name (由香利) means "affinity" or "connection", referring to her empathetic and supportive persona.
- Yukari's hero name "Iona" is a Greek name and means "Purple Jewel", referring to her eyes and the color of her quirk.
- In the Field Training Arc Yukari chooses Gunhead's Hero Office as work place to train at, meaning that she trains along with Ochaco. However, in the Internship Arc she goes to Gang Orca's Hero Office.
- Her favourite Pro-Hereos are All Might and Gang Orca.
- Yukari usually addresses people politely and is using the fitting suffix. She rarely calls people by nicknames except if they are close friends. Even there she will most likely just shorten their name up. Oddly Yukari comes up with nicknames when she saves the numbers of her friends in her mobile phone's contact list. The nicknames are utmost stupid though. For example she saved Katsuki as "Mr. BOMBastic".

- (To her mother before applying to U.A.) "Well, maybe living a simple and uncomplicated life does make you happy and that's fine. However, it doesn't mean that it has to be the same in my case. I've never been one to take the easy way. It was your dream to follow your parents paths and working at Kouseki's jeweler's shop, right? I have my own dream. I want to attend U.A. and become a pro-hero. It's not the safest choice and I know that, but it's something I really want to do and something what will make me happy in the end."
- (To her sister) "It's not normal for a Kouseki-family member to become an hero? Good. I don't want to be normal. Normal is boring. I will be myself. Unique and different."
- (From Yuriko Kouseki) "We don't have any heroes in our family and there's a reason for that. Stop being so stubborn about it. It's not normal and you know that. You will realize soon that it would be the best to follow our parents steps and not come up with stupid ideas."
- (From Katsuki Bakugou) "You always have such a big mouth when annoying the shit out of me with your teasing and jokes, even during fights, but when it comes to your own feelings you're a damn coward, huh?"
- (From Katsuki Bakugou) "Why the fuck shall we study together? You're not a damn dumbass after all, even though you often behave like one with your jokes full of bullshit and unnecessary comments." (after Yukari asked him if they can study together).
I never thought Yukari would become my main OC when I created her back then in 2016. I randomly heard about Boku no Hero Academia, even before the manga became an anime and read a few chapters. Even though I liked it I didn't decide to create an OC for the manga until the anime aired.
After only four episodes I decided to make an OC for it, but didn't take it serious. I loved the concept of BnHA, but just wanted to have an OC for fun there. I had no idea how different it would become in the future. Yukari used to be a troll who was fun-loving, rude and cheerful, but there was nothing else behind it which bored me. Her quirk was always Crystallization, but at some point I thought about changing it into a Plant Manipulation Quirk. However, it didn't fit to her so I scrapped the idea.
During season one I started to think more about Yukari and eventually developed her and her personality further. I gave her a proper backstory and something to struggle with. She became a more realistic character who had dreams, troubles and worries - something what was lacking before. Due to this I started to like her more and more. I enjoyed working on her so much that I kept developing new ideas for her, as for example Yukaris relationship with her family. I'm not sure how to describe it, but Yukari became very dear to me and basically has almost every trait I admire: Bravery, determination and a very strong will. She is not afraid of choosing the most difficult path, unlike me - since I tend to choose the safest and most comfortable route.
Yukari is supposed to show that you shall aim for your goals no matter what others say or how complicated it may be. Many of us do not follow our dreams and choose a boring, but safe job instead of doing something what we are passionate about.
Fun facts: Yukari had various hair colours - dark blue, blonde, back and even red. It took me months until I could decide for one. It is weird that it became pink in the end, but I'm glad about my decision because I'm absolutely satisfied with her deisgn now. Furthermore Yukari was supposed to have the name Mirai at first and came from a villain family.
