Lavni

Kaisara's everyn and dam of Henric. Lavni is the ideal Valon beauty, with a knockout voice. All those in his tribe believed he could go to Manhattan to get an everyn, or marry an important Mexican Clan official. Instead he ran off with a half Karkan. His name means "Verdant".

With his looks, skills, and confidence, Lavni grew up a vain little shit. Fortunately his father recognized this bad behavior early on and gave him several tongue lashings on the matter. He improved, but Lavni still has his bouts of vanity. His one weakness was that, while he was an exellent singer and impressed all of his tribe, his favored method of singing was as a countertenor, which was not the norm among the Valos. A perfectionist, he couldn't stand the idea of people disliking something he did and kept it to himself.

When the Coastal Tribe was visiting, Lavni was tending to the nets in the river and singing to himself when he realized he was not alone. A Coastal valon, Kaisara, was watching him and waded out into the water begging him not to stop singing. Amazed that someone liked his odd method, Lavni couldn't send away the ugly half-karkan and the two began a rapport that eventually turned into love.

They decided to become an everyn pair and, due to his tribe's general distrust of half-karkans, Lavni traveled with Kaisara to his own Tribe.
