Sweet, Openly friendly, Welcoming, and Diplomatic with an alert and highly strategic mind which tends to surprise people.

Luminous’ days are mostly spent studying and shadowing her mother in her diplomatic work.  

Cousin to Kanaya on the Extraterrestrial side of the family (paternal). Luminous’ mother Celestina is the sister to Kanaya’s father Radionne, and an influential member of nobility on Lumanaia. A full-blooded Luminian, Luminous is her heir and protégé, as well as being a well-sought after match for most of the nobility. As most of Luminian kind, Luminous has a host of abilities afforded to her by her genetic makeup, and those powers are strengthened by the moon. Luminous has proven herself to be particularly powerful, having an uncommon amount of control over her powers, as well as abilities entirely unheard of to her kind. This affords her and her mother a substantial amount of influence and power over the nobility.

Luminous was born with the heart of a star; granted to her by an entity known only as Mother -- a Lonely Overseer of universes -- with the wish that there were those who could see all of her worlds in a way that she often doesn’t get the opportunity to; to travel and experience them, and to eventually meet with her to perhaps keep her company for a time. Although Luminous and many others of her kind do not yet know this, this is the origin of their extraordinary powers. Reyna Beaumont is also a possessor of this power.
