So many angles, so many lies.
Rigor, if you know him, is a pompous snob who prides himself on high-end mercenary work. Whether you like him or not, he is quite an intimidating presence with very little care or sympathy on who he uproots so long as he is getting paid and getting ahead.
One job changed a lot, whether for the better or ultimately for the worst.
Sometimes stealing valuables, including off-world amulets, results in consequence. In this case, one such artifact imbued Rigor with a curse. A little 'itch' as he often calls it, ebbing him on his path to wealth and infamy. Aiding him is the alternative form of Midas, a massive golden lizard. He utilizes this, using it to his advantage. However, with any great thing always comes a price.

About
Rig came from a small family, growing up in New Oasis. It was less than luxurious, oftentimes scraping by to make ends meet. Due to a number of familial conflicts, mostly caused by money and disagreements, Rig finally cut ties and went off in his early teens to make his own way on Mammon.
He had made friends with some local mercs, and soon took on jobs of his own and realized he had a pretty good knack for it. The best part of the job was the treasure hunting for clients. Though he would retrieve what they were after, he would have plenty of pickings for himself to take on the side. Otherwise jobs usually included assassinations and roughing people up to collect debts.
One particular job changed a lot, however.
Rig was tasked to infiltrate an ancient ruin, which upon uncovering was a massive crash-landed alien ship from what seemed to be even before the Cataclysm. He uncovered the relics listed in the contract, and then noticed a particularly interesting one that was heavily locked away. With persistence and greed, he was able to pry it open and uncover a small amulet of sorts.
All seemed fine at first, they had finished a job that would set them up for months, however the longer Rig held onto the extra artifact, the more he noticed changes...changes to himself. A little voice in the back of his head made it hard to turn away temptations or ideas, and then he noticed his very physiology warping and soon taking on the form of a beast that bled gold.
Though terrifying at first, he began to utilize it to his own advantage, working with the little voice and the beast he could become to further pursue his goals and gather riches beyond belief. He still knows little to why he can do these things, but a little itch in the back of his head suggests to keep holding onto that amulet like his life depends on it.
TRIVIA:
- Loves to gamble and use cards and dice, doesn’t always (or ever) play fair…- Tends to hoard expensive things and splurge on trivial things like furniture and clothing.
- If injured in his ‘Midas’ form, he will retain those injuries when he shifts back. Midas is more durable when it comes to injuries.
- He cannot talk in Midas’ form, it only comes out as hissing and growling. This frustrates him to no end if the opponent is talkative. But! It is still a curse, after all.
- While ‘Midas’ is supposedly an entity of its own, it is still Rig when transformed. He retains all memory and personality--unless he pushes that too far, of course. He is essentially piloting the big lizard for the most part.
