he's been through so much... i'm proud of him for pulling through and managing to live some semblance of a contented life after his path of Disgusting Abhorrent Monster With A Friendly Smile to The Embodiment Of Self-Loathing Hoping To Make Things Cosmically Right to How I Lost Everything There Was For Me (Including All Hope For Myself) to here, and if i'm following the story of these various nanas right this isn't even the most up-to-date phase of his life in your toyhouse? regardless this was A Hell Of A Read and it's nice that nana was able to reach a point in his life where he's doing good things.

I ALWAYS FEEL WEIRD FOR FEELING SO HAPPY WHEN PEOPLE COMPLIMENT THIS OC??? in a lot of ways he's been an experiment in redemption arcs, under what circumstances id feel ok letting someone like him off the hook even slightly, etc

but holy crap lol you seem have gotten the order/situation just right, the correct order chronologically is:

that must have taken time/effort to keep up with gfkhjg good on you...  I H OPE IT WAS, ENJOYABLE TO READ AT LEAST, its all very heavy but idk in a weird way its become very comfortable to me recently

honestly i became really invested in this character because of your Which Of My OCs Are You quiz from a while back and it made me motivated to see what his deal was. it's personally satisfying that this character i was sort of "assigned" (KNOWING THAT THE VERSION OF HIM FROM THE QUIZ RESULTS HAD HIS ABUSIVE/MANIPULATIVE ASPECTS HEAVILY HEAVILY TONED DOWN) managed to not only A) realize what a shitbag he was but 2) carve a better life for himself where he's doing better for the people around him, so i was glad to read all the way through everything.

oh my GOD YOU GOT NANA ON THAT QUIZ??? GKJHGFHKGFHG HOLY FUCK RIPCREPE... so did a lot of people which i find kind of interesting, and his abusive traits were WAY toned down and the positive aspects of him were emphasized [not necessarily exaggerated, because all his good traits are true! which makes it confusing for his victim] to make him more relatable. all the results were supposed to be relatable even if 2 of them were of abusers so i rly dont get worried if someone gets nana or hachi [the other abuser in that quiz], it shouldnt say much about them in terms of "this person is Actually Bad....!!!!!"

but ;-; this is so flattering and cool thank you... nana has, definitely evolved from the one-dimensional abuser strawman gay stereotype he was in like, 6 - 7th grade for me flhgh [im finishing up my 3rd year in college atm] and its really nice when people tell me they like his character arc

oh jeez thank you! ; o ; not all his are complete yet but they will be at some point...

after years of venting personal issues through victims of abuse i think i decided at some point to experiment with writing an abuser who goes through a "redemption" period that doesnt feel forced or insensitive or Bad, and ive always hoped thats what he is!

thank you!! its a subject thats near+dear to me and a big motivation for me as a writer is to depict both abusers and victims realistically, while still holding onto the facts of their individual situations [ex: writing an abuser with plenty of good traits about them, that could be distracting to the victim but do not make them a good person necessarily considering that they are still an abuser]

; o ; ahhhh thank you... so many writers romanticize and lighten abuse narratives unfortunately gghgh which leads to a LOT of ignorance around the topic. but hopefully awareness will be raised and trends will change in the future!
