"Tokyo's mysterious Tsundoku University is one of Japan's most revered academic institutions - and not without good reason. Tsundoku is, by no means, a normal university after all. To be a student at Tsundoku University, it is not a matter of applying, or paying student loans, or being accepted after having all of your previous academic prowess meticulously scanned through and evaluated - it is a matter of being scouted. To be part of Tsundoku University, the university must come to you."

Tsundoku University is a privatised academy only for those deemed 'talented' enough by its talent scouts situated in Japan. It is a highly expansive academic institute, providing graduate degrees in almost every field, including culinary arts, veterinary studies, biomechanics, forensics, the arts, history, teaching, medicine, music - anything that Tsundoku wants as a part of their student arsenal, they have on campus. Tsundoku University also has on-sight accommodation and dorm areas for students, of which can choose between living there full-time or only living at the academy part of the time. Students at Tsundoku University are granted with Talent Titles that indicate what skillset they were initially scouted by the school for, and oftentimes their specialisation at the academy itself - titles of which carry with them past graduation and into the rest of their adult life.

In a bizarre temptation of fate, five new first years at the Tsundoku University are all allocated the last five remaining dorm rooms on the small top floor of the academy's Komorebi Complex. Things become a little complicated when it's revealed that 1.) two of the top floor's residents are actually twin brothers with a relationship too tumultuous to even begin unpacking; 2.) another one of the top floor's residents is actually a second year student, and is attending the school on a criminal rehabilitation scholarship; 3.) another resident turns out to be a massive e-celebrity with an ungodly cult following; and 4.) the last resident has never lived anywhere aside from her family's ranch in the middle of Chiba.

Of course, chaos ensues.
