Meet Izaiya, one of the promoter that work in wonderland inc. company that produce living dolls that sold from around the world. His the one that in charge promoting anything related about Poppet, including providing a new spare part for their ear and tails.
This species are like crobidolls your free to customize them, make a new cloth for them and also they come with various type of size ! [ S,L,M,XL ] (XL is the only one that having the size of real human).
The thing that differentiate them with crobidolls are THEY ALIVE ! you can teach them how to talk at first and identifying you as their mother or even master. It's your own to choose !
[EAR]
- The picture above are showing that their ear can be knitted with many type of cloth pattern.
- Their Ear and tail is replaceable, and you can replace it with other spare part that provide inside the box. But ! what if you remove their ear and tails for a long time? they would cry! because they identified that part as their own body and would freaked out if separate for a long time. (just imagine seeing your hand detached)
[Tail]
- Lace tail is identified as Beta while Zip are the Alpha.
- You can't change lace tail Poppet with zipper tail and so on, but you can change them with hand crafted animal tail which are free from the box.
- Rabbit type poppet can't have cat tail and so on, basically poppet are not stabilize to use different type.

Ever since these living dolls were first crafted back centuries ago, they were designed with a body structure similar to those of ball-jointed dolls. These specific dolls have long been discontinued, as a new and more realistic body was produced to better mimic the movements of an actual human. As technology started to advance, these new models have been mass produced, causing it to where these ball-jointed [Or you can call it OLD TYPE-J ] Poppets are now seen as a rarity within society and especially for collectors.
The newest model as stated earlier, have a more reality body, as their joints are not displayed on their exterior like the older models. These models are far more flexible and fluid in their movements as their limbs are far more reinforced.
The ball-jointed Poppets move just as well as their predecessor. However, due to their date,some of them may be limited in movement, causing them be quite fragile. If handled with the utmost respect and care, they will stay by your side forever.
[Background Story]
I want Poppets can be freely customized to the owner’s liking, so it is up to the to create their own story! Do keep in mind that there are many Poppets out there and can be in any timeline since they were produced from centuries ago till now and up until now! Poppets are everywhere, each unique to their own alongside their owners, and possibly running free, hoping to find their potential owner in the future.
Here are some head canon that you may utilize for your Poppet!
- Some Poppet is different from the other such are made from various type materials, so many might be more suitable for certain roles such as a bodyguard.
- Master/Owner can get Poppet from various way, such like purchasing them or accidentally find them, or even trough black market.
- Wonderland inc. is a discreet company who produces Poppets. No one knows how to create these Poppet, but there a strong magic in the poppet core.
- Poppet learn fast though mimicking and their sight.
- Izaiya the Seller (Can be) a time traveler.
- Poppets can live for an eternity or till their core dies cause loneliness.
- Poppet can gain their freedom once their master/owner dies.
- And many more!
If you'd like, you can also use the default story of Poppet! After all, they are created for people for those who enjoy company, and for Poppets to find a new home! The choice is yours!
[Other F.A.Q]
- They can't actually talk at first, so its up for you to teach them. (like you can make them call you mama or master).
- You can make their own cloth or buy a doll clothing that fit them! and maybe if you kind enough you buy them a Doll house to stay.
- The heart shape on their chest is the company brand that make them, but don't worry ! it removable, just like a sticker.
