Δ With the rapid robotic and mechanical advancements made in the last 2 centuries ago, Humans created machines in their own image known as Aegis.
Machines that are sapient and sentient not so different from humans mentally. some considered Aegis to be the ultimate gift to humanity. leading them to a bright future.

A subsection of these, known as Combat Aegis, they are designed to protect and aid humanity in ways that humans could never do.
They possess Idea Drives, a power device that allows them to Harness and even weaponize their very ideas reshaping the fabric of reality. Δ

 Terms

Aegis: Aegis are artificial beings, Androids created by humanity, Aegis can vary in design from humanoid to that of an Animal but exaggerated, Aegis electronic brains are based on that of humans with similar neuron structures and networks as such Aegis can possess both positive and negative traits of that of a human.
which is why they sometimes are referred to as mirrors of humanity there are currently two variations of Aegis.

Normal Aegis: A standard Android, the most common type of the two in society, while they do not possess an IdeaDrive, they can still hold their against Combat Aegis and equally deal with them, these Aegis are often mostly either normal citizens or political figures and get less scrutiny placed on them than Combat Aegis by opposing parties and events of the past.

Combat Aegis: Not entirely built around combat but as a byproduct of their Ideadrive duel ability as such the name came much later. From Aegis over-using their abilities for combat, likewise their bodies while more durable than normal Aegis, it is first and foremost to contain their power however outside of their IdeaDrive their bodies are similar to normal Aegis. 

IdeaDrives: Ideadrives are a unique Device located in a combat Aegis’s body that allows them to manifest and manipulate powerful abilities, giving their ideas shape and form, the Idea drives are usually placed where a human kidney is located, though the place can vary depending on the Aegis. One thing that is regulated heavily, are heavy-plated shield that protects the Drive from damage and keeps the immense power and output that a drive can deliver in check and under control.
