Technically Bo's boss at the research center, but he doesn't really see Toshi that way. They were both researchers before Toshi's promotion, and afterwards began to collaborate more often. Bo values Toshi's opinion on matters both magical and theoretical. However, he does keep a healthy dose of skepticism handy for whenever Toshi might go off on a tangent, ready to pull him back down to reality when necessary.
He had never thought of Toshi as anything but a colleague, or (begrudgingly) a friend, until a realization prompted by an unexpected kiss at the festival. Now that they're dating, Bo is painfully aware of just how out of his depth he is when it comes to relationships. Currently, they've moved in together, so things must be going well!
One of Bo's bosses at the research center. He dislikes Lucille with an intensity usually reserved for his grandparents, but when looking at the similarities between both parties (serious, traditional, intent on using Bo for profit) it becomes fairly clear why. He's constantly unsettled by her and her summons, but his hands are very effectively tied. Without Lucille, he wouldn't be able to continue his research, and for that reason alone, he'll continue to suffer just a little.
you ever just fight a dude and have fun doing it and then the next day he's a fucking cat?? yeah. nate thinks koh is a cool little dude. friend :)
In his usual adult verse, Hansuke is one of Yuko's adoptive fathers. Despite being told not to, Hansuke has a habit of quietly encouraging Yuko's ass kicking endeavors. Show 'em who's boss, honey.
Yuko is one of Hansuke's adopted daughters. She looks up to Hansuke, hoping to grow up and be just as big and strong as him!
Seiichi is Hisashi's twin brother, younger by only a few minutes; that paired with their rough upbringing is enough to make him act like any normal older brother, though. Hisashi would do anything for Seiichi and follow him anywhere -- even straight into hell. As far as Hisashi is concerned... Nobody else matters.
