ME AND THE DEVIL

As a last way out, a blood covered and literally heartless Nova draws an uneven pentagram sigil and whispers a spell she can barely remember as her blood keeps leaking onto the floor. From the shadows a cloaked figure emerges and asks what her bidding is. She makes a pact to trade her soul to get her heart back from the one that robbed her of it. The figure disappears and returns momentarily with her mauled heart, before mending it, rendering it coal black and reuniting it with her body. With this new heart, unknown powers awaken in her, and she must do the bidding of the demon who rescued her. Luckily he does not demand much from her, except her company from time to time. The two are drawn closer as her newfound powers manifest.
