Finn is kinda idolizing Eimear: she is brave, smart and full of life. There is to task she cannot tackle or no problem she is not willing to solve. Always the first to act she is kind of her self-selected leader of the quartet, heading always toward the next adventure - in a kind of Lara Croft was, minus the monsters. Finn often finds himself at her side riding along and often ends up being in trouble - although Eimear says it will be just fine, Keenan sees it differently. If their father is not finding out about their things, Keenan always do and while he is not acting exactly like their father he does worry for their wellbeing, but also tends to tag along to have "someone in the team with some basic sense of responsibility". And then they cannot leave Meera out of course and somehow all of the 4 siblings are of then out, despite some of their protests at Eimear side to head into the next adventure. She is the spice in the life of the siblings and surely her presence makes their childhood a lot more interesting. She may can be a reason why is Finn ending at the side of CĂ©leste, not even flinching - maybe just sometimes - when she drags him into some dangerous business in his adult life - to him it is not so different from his childhood adventures.
Eimear is the mischievous one of the gang. Always comes up with something, a prank or adventure and usually gets Finn at her side to complete those plans. Keenan loves his middle sister, her spark, her vivid character, but she often finds herself in a mess and drags others into that mess as well, but ever mean harm. Most of their childhood adventures are coming from this girl and she is not one to get scared off - someone bullies one of her siblings? Fight. One of her siblings needs help? Instantly there. Keenan knows she is a tough girl, but also so full of love and care.
As for Keenan and Eimear relationship, Keenan always saw himself as the odlest of the gang the most responsible one and he feels the urge to protect their siblings. And he feels like the most difficult job he has with is Eimear. He knows his sister is not defenceless and tries to not be overprotective - moreover he is happy to accept her help when he is out to sort out of some bullies they mock Finn or Meera. Keenan and Eimear are definitely the tough pairing, even though Keenan loves to solve problems trough talking, rather than physical violence, but he is willing to get physical if he needs to and bullies sometimes only understand that kind of language. And you just never really have to ask Eimear twice to participate in some fighting. But whenever she is in trouble and bites more she can chew, Keenan is there, all muscle and hooves and teeth to help her out and protect her and he knows she has his back and his siblings back as well. Later, when they are adults and even on their own way Keenan knows if something will ever happen to him, Eirmear will do everything to keep the siblings in touch and protect them if she needs to. He looks at his sister as a little fighter who is rather helping to other than accept help so he offers help and protection as her partner in fight and not like a fathering figure.
