Current name is 'Aquae Amica.' I just don't like it because it's latin + multiple words which isn't really my thing tbh,,, I was somewhat iffy about it from the start even :')

Fin thingis

The species are both land and water based. Depending on their rarity, they can breathe underwater for certain amounts of time without drowning or anything bad happening. All of them naturally have these fin like things on their heads that give them what Abi and I call super senses. It gives them the abilities to hear, see, feel, smell, and taste better than regular humans or other creatures or species of whatever (when the rarest are in their human form, this does not apply to them). Along with these fins, they can also have tails. Not all of them have a tail, but the ones that do have tails have even more super-super senses because these fin thingis go all the way along the tail.

Scales

All Aquae Amica have scales scattered on their bodies. This is seen best on these images: one, two, three. These scales are on the cheeks, neck, right under (slightly on the bottom sometimes even- ) the bosom (for both men and women, I just don't know what else to call it besides bosom), the forearm (ending at the wrist), the knee, and the calf (the bottom of the tail as well, if they have one that is). These scales act as an extremely strong armor to the Aquae Amica, causing them to be constantly hunted, making it very dangerous for them to be out in the open. If one of them is killed for their scales, the scales would be made into armor in most cases. But honestly they could be made into anything. The Aquae Amica are very difficult to kill, let alone catch. So their scales are extremely valuable and are worth a lot of money. By here I forgot what I was writing about and don't have the energy to read through it all. I'll move on to the next supject if there is one.

Other stuff because I forgot what else to write about 

Although I haven't gotten around to changing this about them or incorporating it into the species, they have these carving-like markings on their bodies. These markings do have depth to them, which is why I say carving like. I haven't figured everything out for them yet though that's why I haven't gotten around to adding the trait to the species.

Much like the scales, their bones are very strong making it harder than most for them to break any bones or anything like that. Of course if they fell off something that would only break a regular human's leg, for them the bones would still be broken or cracked, but not as severe. And speaking of, the bones also have a very elegant appearance. They are usually much more white than human bones. And they seem to have this brightness to them, or this shine, not exactly sure how to put it. But wherever the body markings are, those same carving-like markings are on the bones as well. In the same place and stuff as they are on the skin.
