War Worlds

A modern fantasy dieselpunk themed world is in the midst of a war that has taken thousands of lives, many countries vying for control of dwindling resources from a planet ravaged by climate change. The crystal is known as Sonite,  which contains genetic altering energy akin to magic, granting the user abilities such as super strength or control over fire. A dishonored and forsaken ex-soldier discovers a conspiracy involving the war and Sonite, gathering a team of misfits, thieves and mercenaries to save the world from all-out nuclear war.
