Cat? Dog? Bird creature? Colm isn't sure exactly what Datura is, but what he does know is that he wants to cuddle them. They trade silent looks often and sign together, and have already helped each other in times of stress. Chant hopes to become closer to the distant pianist, already comforted by their presence.
Although she met him through a somewhat alarming circumstance, Datura meets Chant with respect. Something about his presence is calming and often makes sure that he's doing okay given the situation that they're in. Not wanting to disappoint or hurt Chant's feelings, she classifies herself as "both a puppy and a kitty".

WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!" || How the fuck are you supposed to react when a stranger tries to contact you through various electrical equipment and observes in the background for months before crawling out of your computer screen with good intent? Simon's reaction was fully warranted given his situation, though looking back he does feel bad. With this guy-- even though he freaks him out sometimes-- he can feel his wires spark deep within his chest. Are the feelings mutual? But who would care for such a wretched beast.
Recognition flickered in his eyes, and the first thing he felt was relief - the thought that he wasn't alone after all. The panic followed soon after. He had to reach out, tell this stranger that he wasn't alone. That Chant knew what had happened to Simon - that he didn't have to be alone, without answers. Call it what you may, when Chant crawled out of Simon's computer, he was just trying to help. Should he have thought about the possibility of frightening Simon to hell and back? Perhaps. Was the ensuing all out chase and brawl throughout the city planned? Definitely not. The falling head over heels in love afterwards was only natural, really.
Another passenger on the ill fated plane, Gael and Gabriel’s paths cross as survivors of the crash. They become fast friends, with Gael having a soft spot for the fellow video platform creator. In times of stress and fear, they make each other laugh. Gael thinks of Gabriel like a little brother, bonding with and being fiercely protective of him, despite Gabriel actually being older than Gael.

Surprised to find someone that survived the crash, he and Gael became fast friends and one of the first outside his roommate to show his true--albeit chaotic colors. Secretly, he kind of knows whats going on between Gael and his "boss" but he can care less. He has more pressing matters like making a strong structure.
