Deep Respect: Similar in temperament and willfulness, they got along famously in his childhood. However, deep down in his heart, Cerebrum feels a strong envy for her life— and a harsh resentment for abandoning him. However, he still holds onto hope that one day Inés will come back for him, and they will escape together.
Fiercely Protective: Both raised with the intention of marriage, Inés holds a great deal of sympathy and protectiveness for her poor younger brother. That doesn't mean they didn't constantly fight and argue, but they're the closest of all the Serpiente siblings. She also feels guilty for running away, and has sworn to return for him someday.
Not too Keen On: Shae's always been suspicious of Daire's interest in Kieran, and airs that dislike more openly than with anyone else he has issues with (which is a lot of people.) That being said, he is forever thankful to Daire for saving Kieran's life, and has a begrudging respect for them because of that.
General Disdain: When Daire was in their not-quite-stalking-Kieran era, Shae was always loudly criticizing Daire and calling them creepy. Daire purposefully resists calling Shae by his name, instead dubbing him "the orange one" or "that ginger friend of yours" That being said, they appreciate that Shae can make Kieran happy in ways that Daire can't.
Extreme Fondness: Shae is Kieran's best friend, and represents a time before he suffered- his joy and freedom. Shae never fails to make Kieran smile, and he always thinks about him fondly. Have casual friend sex that Kieran does not see as romantic (poor Shae)
Deep Love: Kieran is Shae's best friend, the only person he ever felt truly comfortable letting his walls down around. Would do anything to make Kieran happy, which is why he won't confess his feelings. He knows Kieran would feel burdened to reciprocate and is more concerned with preserving what they have than losing it on something they could.
Complicated Devotion: Kieran will do anything for Daire as he feels he owes them a debt for his resurrection, but also resents them for it somewhat. Even so, he genuinely cares about Daire and puts himself at risk many times lying about their identity to protect them from capture. Mutual reliance.
Very Protective Of, will do anything for him, partially out of guilt/responsibility, and partially because they genuinely care about him.
After leaving Criegcluain, Daire always keeps an eye on Kieran with their skeletal owl familiar, Ulchabhán. Has a mutual reliance, though Daire feels guilty asking anything of Kieran.
Desire of Necessity: Atrium locked Cerebrum into a Covenant (arranged marriage). It was a mutually beneficial arrangement, and while deep down he's grateful, he resents Atrium for deciding his future for him. He feels awkward around him, but finds him attractive and dependable. He hates feeling inferior, and will do whatever he can to prove he is his equal or superior. United in their hatred of Cerebrum's father.

It's Complicated: Sure, at the beginning Atrium threatened to cut Kieran's legs off, his hands off, potentially his head off... Not to mention being generally a rude asshole that was always trying to get under Kieran's skin. But as they grow closer, and are forced to rely on each other, maybe Atrium isn't so terrible.
It's Complicated: At first, Atrium saw Kieran as nothing more than a foolish liability. But after getting to know him, Atrium realized that he was an invaluable asset, one he needed to secure.
Devoted Desire: When Kieran was captured by Purezan forces, they viewed him as an object of research or a dangerous animal. Cerebrum was the only person to see him for what he was; a bovid like everyone else. Kieran feels a deep appreciation to Cerebrum as well as a desire to protect him. He also sees him as a sliver of hope- that Cerebrum's research will yield a way to destroy Kieran's bell.
Possessive Desire: Cerebrum wants Kieran. He holds a deep affection for his kindness and beauty more than his power, and desperately wants to keep him by his side. He is always concerned with how Kieran is treated, appalled by his ardent desire to die, disgusted by his meekness (though also enjoys it heh)
