Arknights is a Chinese mobile game developed by Hypergryph and published by Yostar.

In this world called Terra, there are various races with animal characteristics. The world is ridden by natural disasters called Catastrophes, which pushed the cities to move in Arks as nomadic cities and countries. The Catastrophes also cause the appearance of Originium, a mineral used in many things in daily life to advance technology. However, Originium is also harmful to people and can cause infection called Oripathy, which is 100% fatal with no cure.

Rhodes Island is a paramilitary medical organization sought to provide treatment and finding cure to Oripathy, through an enigmatic, amnesiac doctor recently awakened from "a long sleep", and follows their conflict with the Reunion, a violent non-state actor intending to punish the Terran society for their mistreatments towards the Infected – individuals with Oripathy.
