So my OC Tithe is based off my desktop computer and today she basically played dead (somehow a bitlock got put on, never set one up so I didn’t have the password). After essentially giving up I completely unplugged her and started scrubbing her down cuz I didn’t wanna take a dusty and sticker glue covered computer to the geek squad. I guess all she needed was a bath and a 3 hour nap because when I was all done I plugged her in with the intention of just going full factory reset, but nah she went “I’m good now” and booted up all normal like nothing happened.
she’s been a finicky bitch for years, this behavior from her is to be expected at this point. I think the timing is really funny since I’ve been drawing her a lot in preparation for a little comic I’m making for a zine. 

So that was my whole day lol. On the topic of cleaning I completely did my room for spring and it feels so nice. Even painted my desk for the first time since I’ve had it, it’d been completely destroyed by art projects from over the years, good as new now.

Even though this is an outfit that will like never appear again, it makes me really happy since it just feels so much more them. ESPECIALLY when compared to the original route I went with was so bland. What I did now was take inspiration from designers who took 40s suits and modernized them (modern being the late 90s). The color palate is my own modification, picked from their casino so it really feels all their own. 

Also like even though it's just a sketch I like how relaxed my art style has become in under two years

Boutta hit the last hours of Jr. year soon. So far I got 3/5 assignments in progress, still waiting to hear what the finals for the other two are. But yhea, very casual feeling this time around so if my brain isn't dumb and lets me work through the weekend then I'll prob get some stuff done early. But yhea I cannot even express how lovely the past few weeks have been, prob has to do with the weather being so nice; but ngl it's starting to feel like I'm gonna have another 2019 (aka a really fuckin' good year).

Oh and I made another another side blog for writing but this one I'm actually gonna use and have already posed a backlog of some stuff from 2020-2022 so there's the link to that if anyone wants my lame-ass poetry and just rambling about stuff I think about. I was using my D&D books as weights because we all know the modules are heavy as shit. and look what fell out.

I completely forgot that Mantus is covered in burn scars, given it was back in like 2018, but still. "Why haven't you posted any art of him like that before?" Well, he's got magic and is extremely vain so he's gonna use minor illusion to cover it all up. But like shame on me, that could have been a good character arc for him to move past that aspect of himself.  I got invited to be a little guest star for a D&D stream as I'm typing this so maybe this might be a sign to bring him back and actually give him some depth beyond bratty-vain-diva. 

So I'm like all caught up on school and stuff and have a leisurely timeline with work so commissions are back open. 

Still gonna pour more focus into school right now, it's actually been really nice not working on my OCs since It really did clutter my head too much and I honest to god feel like I can think again for the first time in months. ADHD fixations really be a bitch like that. Again I'm more active on my Tumblr, been doing lots of journaling on that so even though I did end up making a different blog for writing I've put maybe like two things on it and don't think I'm gonna be touching it at all really. Not posting the name of it cuz it's more of a "hey just throwing this out to get this out" kinda thing, nothing serious. But yhea I'm definitely more talkative online now, It's primarily for myself but like why not finally pull back the curtain a bit? Let people know there's actually a person behind the account. 

Shoutout to those dumb horoscope ladies online back in December who said they said shit was gonna get good in March for us Aquariuses cuz they were right. Shamrock shakes are back, I know how to use chopsticks now, don't gotta worry about tuition anymore, and I won myself a little award at a film festival, an honorable mention but hey something that's gonna look very nice on a resume. (Also it was from Fox International Film Festival which is based in Rome and I just find it funny the Italians are pulling through for me once again). But yhea, festival season isn't over yet so fingers crossed for more nominations and wins.

So like I've been dead for a month haha. Given that more work is coming with school and I just got hired for a project coming in March I'm gonna continue to be dead here. So that means my commissions are gonna be closed as well. I'll pop in periodically to do little things but there's prob not gonna be any new art/characters from me for a while. 

I'm like kinda active on my Tumblr (Main blog link too ig?), I post, scroll for 20 min, then leave. But if you want to see art that I wouldn't post here and to hear me chitter to myself diary-style check that out I guess. 

Also, I'm gonna be clearing some shit out so keep an eye on my trade/sale folder if you're into that, it's mostly not gonna be my designs tho.
