Technocracy
Technocracy takes place on the planet Athoria. Athoria has two major races that inhabit it. There are the Imyets, which currently have control over most of the planet, and the Keblexis. The Imyets are native to the planet, while the Keblexis started a colony there years ago. The planet itself has three moons orbiting it, as well as icy rings. The rings contain small planetoids that outposts and stations are built upon. Athoria’s grass is a pale grey, with most wood being a variant of greyish blue or purple. Many of the iconic flowers of the planet are a striking light blue that almost seems to glow. The world of the Imyets is loosely based upon feudal Japan in its aesthetics, but has futuristic technology. There is a strict class system within the Imyets, the wealthy live in luxury, and the poor are destitute. According to Imyet superstition, someone born with four fingers on one hand is a bad omen.
The story of Technocracy follows a young geneticist, working for the royal laboratory. Her name is Dr. Ni and she’s assistant to the head geneticist, Dr. Al. Dr. Ni is kind, and optimistic. She begins to see her lab partner as a sort of father figure. Despite not having the full details of the project she’s working on, she trusts Al completely. Their project started off as a way to keep the empress alive, creating clones of her to transfer her consciousness to once her current body died. Dr. Al decides to change the project without telling anyone. He keeps the cloning aspect, but instead uses it to build his own race. A “pure” race that won’t fail like this one has, according to him. Due to Ni’s trusting nature, she lets this happen. After the collapse of the current government, Dr. Al sets his newly created race on the world, then kills himself. This race Al created is the Alimyets, Naya’s race.

Plush it’s a lot of fun to see what people make in my universes. (: I’ll post a “trait” sheet with info about both, and just don’t make it too messy.
