What Imimyr lacks in physical chaos, he makes up for in his batshit way of spitting out seemingly nonsensical information. Unfortunately, Xhyros has been deemed one of many talking ducks, with the excuse that he's teaching her. She was the one that made the mistake of letting him know she was once an academic, but he was the one to forget that she repays him by fighting.
Growing up in Aarons shielded grove Rin did not expect such hostility against him because of his appearance. Thus he was unexpectedly struck down, and if it wasn't for Agatha his story would have probably ended there. Since then he has become more skilled in combat and got to repay Agathas favour many a times.
He loves listening to her stories and trusts her a lot. He is fascinated by her descriptions of the red isle, a place he does not know yet yearns to reach one day.
Agatha found Rin surrounded by thugs beating down on him. Unlike with her it wasn't hard to tell Rin was an apostate. His eyesalmost as brightly red as the very blood of the dead god itself. She rescued him and helped him recover.
They eventually became close friends, talking for hours and sitting around the fire at night. She finds comfort in having someone that she can talk about anything to.
A warm light amidst a cold, dark storm. A hand reaching out to him at his most voulnerable. A stinging pain piercing his chest. No face, no voice to attribute to these hazy memories. No matter what they were to him before his rebirth, if they do not yield to the word of the old one they must perish.
The memory of losing her entire crew still stings in her very flesh. Never in a lifetime would she have expected for such a tragedy to occur, and no less at the hands of the fragile, pampered researcher accompanying them.
If she ever met it again she would probably lose control again, just like the day she managed to flee the island. And this time her body wouldn't be as strong anymore...
Callahan has taught Xhyros the way of the exiles for a while now, even though he finds her a bit- too much, he sees a lot of potential in her, thus, he is okay with educating the fellow exile as long as she doesn't break anything.
After Xhyros ran off her parents commissioned Zazirah to find her for them. Luckily, instead of handing her in, Xhyros was offered shelter, and in turn she helped her out with caring for Zazis animals, doing some of the heavy lifting and such.
Words cannot describe how much Xhyros appreciates Zazirah for helping her out, and even now that she is in exile she sometimes regrets not being able to personally say goodbye.
On some occasions, during her missions and if the time and location allows it, she sneaks a small letter to one of Zazis animals to keep in touch.
Xyno took Xhyros under their wing after word of Azurha sending them. The viper king always is good to judge character, so he decided that Xhyros simply needed something to break. Now she does have that. Which makes her one of the best assets in everything that involves a bit of a ka-boom.
After the turbulences that led her to leave into exile she did not expect to be welcomed with such open arms. Still distraught and a bit of a mess she appreciated the simple communal work that she was tasked to do in the beginning. She is fully into the cause of the Metal Devil and jumps at every oppurtunity to smash some buildings (or skulls).
She's not keen to admit it, but she loves hearing him talk and rhyme
Aaron is the first person he can remember in his life. From the very beginning he was loving and accepting, albeit a tad overprotective. Rin loves her adoptive father very much and even now that he is miles and miles away he thinks about lying in his garden amidst the flowers whenever he's down.
His dearest son, he found him in the arms of his dying mother while foraging. He immediately formed a strong bond with him, trying to give Rin the best life he can.
It still pains him that he left off into the worls, knowing just how cruel it can be. At times he regrets not preparing his son for the dangers that linger outside and prays that he is doing well.
Xhyros was once a viper under Azurha's hood and he cared for her as so. After ensuring a safe passage to the Metal Devil, he simply wishes that they feel at home once again in a place that welcomes them, just the way they are, with open arms. He trusts that his partner Xyno has been fair to her, sometimes their talks involve a small catch up about the exiled. He needs to ensure the other vipers know she is safe and happy.
Xhyros feels forever grateful for the help Azurha and his vipers gave to her. She loved working for them and being able to have a place to call home. She often inquires about the doings and well-being of the vipers and hopes they are doing well in their endeavours.
To Xhyros, Etrum is a sort of adoptive father. They are a peculiar duo, the grumpy and calm old man and the energetic and loud young adult. Despite being a menace at times she enjoys his company, he was one of the people who helped her settle and be comfortable in her new community.
Etrum is not safe from his leg being snatched on occasion tho.
Nameless loves visitng this skilled artist and exchanging their catch of the day for shiny jewelery. They admire Quills craft and happily adorn their home with the gemstones they bartered for.
Toku used to be Xhyros' closest friend. They would spar and get into all sorts of trouble and he helped her feel at peace during her less than ideal life with her family.
The shock and confusion during their first meeting almost cost Xhyros her life. She resents his decision to hunt the people she now considers her community, and fights tooth and nail for them. Sometimes she wonders how things could have been before she left into exile.
Xhyros was a close friend to Toku in his childhood. Someone he used to regard with such affection, now an enemy that he is obligated to murder. Toku felt betrayed upon seeing her post-exile, and as the Exile Killer, he tried to swiftly and with mercy, end her quickly. She had survived, due to the slight tremor that laid deep in his hands, resulting in the jagged scar that adorns her neck now. With distress, Toku hates how Xhyros turned to the Metal Devil Territory, instead of seeking him for help earlier in their years.
Mainaaka is not one to easily turn violent but when visiting the exiles Xhyros always manages to take the feral out of him. From demonstrations of strength to fight beasts for the sake of being right, they form quite the explosive duo that may give the metal devil some headaches from time to time. Thanks to the great number of scars they have, Mainaaka respects them.
Somehow chaos breaks loose as soon as these two meet. Even tho she would probably not admit it, she really enjoys sparring and hanging out with the behemoth. She respects his raw strength a lot and is always up to another round of fighting.
