I've just had to deal with someone who tacked on paypal fees for two designs and thought I wouldn't notice? I agreed to pay $60 and received an invoice requesting $63.72. Yes.. I know it isn't a lot, but I read people's rules/tos so I know what kind of business practices they have. This wasn't included in it, and I wouldn't have purchased from them in the first place if I had known. No, I didn't buy the designs in the end because this left a bad taste in my mouth. Trying to sneak on extra and thinking I wouldn't notice.. pff.

Don't do this. Always check out adopt sellers before you purchase.

Does anyone else see comments along the lines of "this person doesn't put information on their characters profiles and so they must not be using them, just hoarding them." and feel.. uneasy? I don't remember who it was because it was on a deleted upload, but there was a comment that specifically said that Disdain shouldn't be able to buy anymore of -species here- because they have several already.

I never did reply to it but I should have because it was so rude. Also, I know I don't have to explain myself to anyone but hERE I AM!! So here you go everyone who wonders why my profiles have been blank: I've had my characters stolen from me, word by word from their bios and image by image. Oh and their artwork (by me!) was edited/butchered and drawn over. Lame, right? And this is why i've not been that comfortable with writing too much. I actually roleplay privately very frequently. I've been trying to get better about this recently because of toyhouse's watermark system, but then something will always put me off. Right now i'm looking at something that has alarm bells ringing for me and I don't like it........

So yeah. It's not nice to assume that just because you can't see what someone is doing means that they're a hoarder. For me, it makes the chance of letting characters go ever slimmer :')
