KC didn't exactly hold high hopes for any interactions between her and a demonic boss half her size, but she found herself pleasantly surprised. She quickly learned that, despite his appearance and role, Fester was hardly any different from an ordinary human with their individual struggles and passions. Admiring his values and beliefs, she not only found herself supporting him to the best of her ability, but recognizing that he was actually kinda cute...and then she was subconsciously flirting with him...and then things were just entirely out of her control. She's in love with a stupid little shrimp.
Fester is technically KC's boss, as he's been left in charge of most of the carnival's standard employees. While he didn't care for her more than any other human he's been forced to tolerate, the two began to chat on their breaks and found that they share surprisingly similar values. In an embarrassing twist of fate, Fester found himself leaning heavily on KC while he endured the harsher feelings surrounding his position beneath Milenko, and his growing admiration and respect for her quickly blossomed into an unlikely romance. He's so down bad, dude. This girl is twice his size and carrying him around like a fucking puppet and he can't even say no.
Milenko heavily enjoys Gunther. After all, Gunther is just a poor, emotionally crippled individual who is the perfect target for Milenko's manipulative whims. After continuously kissing the asses of a bunch of hardened criminals, the former prison inmate is a refreshing change in Milenko's routine, and he deeply enjoys molding him as he sees fit.
Poor Gunther has conflicted feelings regarding his new superior and guardian. Emotionally confused and uneducated, he has immense difficulty deciphering the true feelings and intentions of Milenko, and any gratitude and warmth he feels is frequently blended with a gut feeling of fear. However, even if he stands taller than the ringmaster and would be physically capable of an escape, he wouldn't dare raise a hand or even a word at him.
Milenko was oh-so-graciously granted Fester as his second-in-command upon the creation of the Dark Carnival. Despite his poor attitude and loud-mouthed complaints, Milenko finds him to be a rather suitable assistant and takes visible pleasure in saddling him with all kinds of ridiculous tasks. His enjoyment is almost certainly a little sadistic, unfortunately.
Assigned to be Milenko's second-in-command against his will, Fester has grown mostly accustomed to his new circumstances but remains slightly bitter over his position. He's salty about having to obey the commands of a former human, and he finds a lot of the shit that's asked of him to be ridiculous, unnecessary, and downright demeaning at times. However, there is an aspect of Milenko's motivations that he respects, and he doesn't really have a choice whether he likes it or not.
Boogie, at the very least, isn't so worried about Mr. Wiggles turning against him, nor does he think Wiggles would be much of a threat if he did. He internally appreciates the newfound friendship, and even finds some enjoyment in the unwarranted displays of affection, even if he wouldn't dare admit it--but there's also no denying that he finds Mr. Wiggles a little weird and concerning at times. It's just inevitable, really.
Mr. Wiggles loves Boogie! But of course, he loves everyone. However, he loves Boogie and Looney especially, as they're his first real friends and official co-workers! He just can't help but to get all lovey dovey with them, though Boogie is far more accepting of the affection than Looney seems to be, even if it never deters Wiggles either way.
Looney’s feelings, for the most part, can be summarized with the simple phrase “hot lady”. He was a little surprised when Momo first began flirting with him, but he was more than happy to reciprocate, and it wasn’t very long at all before the two had a little thing going and could be found making out in the alleyway on their break (gross). While Looney’s feelings were purely physical at first, he’s admittedly grown somewhat fond of Momo, and is starting to hope he can keep her around for the long run.
Momo is kind of like one of those slasher fangirls who thinks Michael Myers is hot, except with Looney. Despite KC’s warnings and disapproval, she couldn’t resist not-so-subtly flirting with him whenever he stopped by her station, even if it was to coyly offer him napkins because he was literally coated in blood from head to toe. Not only is he some kind of freaky fantasy come true for her, but she’s begun to genuinely appreciate him for more than just his killer instincts.
Looney would identify Milenko as annoying, weird, and an ass-kisser at best. While he hardly shows it, he’s also rather wary and distrustful of him, and is occasionally frustrated by how difficult he is to read and understand. However, he simultaneously appreciates some of Milenko’s craft, even if he’s reluctant to admit it, and he can’t exactly say no to the vast array of privileges he provides.
As one of the most brutal and intelligent serial killers he’s ever laid eyes on, Milenko blatantly favors Looney and heavily prioritized him when seeking employees for his Dark Carnival. That being said, he feels no shame in continuously kissing Looney’s ass and granting just about any wish he may have as long as the guy keeps working for him.
Looney’s feelings regarding Mr. Wiggles are even shallower than his feelings for Boogie, probably. He doesn’t take Wiggles seriously in the slightest, and he tends to find his displays of affection rather irritating, leading to a lot of one-sided altercations. However, there’s no denying that he finds the guy’s mental state amusing and enjoyable at times, and he likes to use it to his advantage however he can.
Mr. Wiggles has never had real friends before, and it shows. He can’t help but continually shower Looney in verbal and physical affection that is violently rejected each and every time, and it’ll never change Wiggles’ feelings about the guy. He loves his new friends so dearly that he wouldn’t even consider killing them! Or rather, he’s far too outmatched to even consider an attempt. Plus, Milenko told him not to.
Looney and Boogie are close friends—or at least closer than anyone else could likely get with Looney, and it’s all thanks to Milenko bunching three of the gnarliest clowns he could find together. Looney doesn’t harbor especially deep feelings for his comrades, admittedly, but he enjoys Boogie’s company and definitely considers him a pal, even if he likes to poke and prod at his vulnerabilities sometimes.
Man, Boogie doesn’t know WHAT to think about his new friends. As a formerly isolated and friendless individual, he inwardly appreciates them on a deep level he’d never care to admit, but he’s also rather wary considering Looney’s track record. He admires the guy’s audacity and lack of mercy, but at the same time, he’s admittedly a little scared; he’s not sure he’d be able to win should Looney turn against him.
Samhain, for starters, finds Malachiel extremely entertaining. While he'd outwardly claim they're friends, close ones at that, he's fully aware that they're more like enemies and no positive feelings he has towards Malachiel are reciprocated. He absolutely loves how reactive Malachiel is and how easily he can get a rise out of him, which, unfortunately for the taller vampel, only has Samhain returning time and time again to get on his nerves.
Samhain's feelings regarding Bishop are fairly neutral. He doesn't see the guy around too much, but when he does, he rarely finds himself interested enough to seek out interaction or follow him like he does Malachiel.
While Bishop and Samhain's shared interests would likely guarantee them a good relationship, the two don't actually interact all that much. Bishop does, however, find Samhain amusing and will openly praise him as though he's some kind of weird dog, though it's difficult to tell if this is meant to be affectionate or condescending.
Skittles is almost definitely one of Loki's favorite individuals to pick on. How can he not? It would be a physical struggle to refrain, honestly. While Loki feels anger and bitterness at Skittles' pathetic nature, he can't even manage to hate the guy due to just how much of a boyfailure he truly is. Even Loki's not that cruel.
Skittles is afraid of Loki. He respects him from a distance, but probably starts to tremble if he gets too close to the guy.
Believe it or not, Freyja somehow considers Malachiel a friend, even after he lowkey kidnapped her and tried to hold her hostage as a newfound pet of sorts. It's probably at least partially her inexperience with this type of attention and situation, admittedly, and she likes the way he dotes on her even if she doesn't care to admit it. Regardless of this, she finds his condescending nature and desire for control annoying and infuriating, and she's constantly battling it when they're together.
Malachiel has developed an unfortunate and unhealthy attachment to Freyja. He feels that she should belong to him, in a possessive and dehumanizing sort of way, which conflicts with his newfound desire to preserve her positive opinion of him. Sadly, though, most of this has become bitterness as a result of not being able to take her home like a stray pet. Sad.
Skittles likes Freyja. Has a crush on her, in fact, but obviously he would never ever act on it, in part because as much of a boyfailure as he is, he's not oblivious to what Freyja and Loki have going on. However, he can't help it; she's nice to him and she's small and cute, so he tries his best to express his gratitude and be a good friend despite his awkwardness.
Freyja considers Skittles a friend, though a large part of her feelings towards him consist of pity and concern, admittedly. While she does her best to protect him from Loki's harassment, there are just times where she almost feels it's inevitable due to how much of a boyfailure Skittles naturally is. Regardless, she does enjoy and appreciate him as a friend and member of her coven.
Skittles likes Rubix and enjoys hanging out with him. He thinks his familiar, Cube, is really cool, too. Rubix is one of the few people he doesn't feel like as much of a bumbling mess around.
Darcel feels a lot of different things about Vic. Most of it is admittedly just attraction to her rebellious, blunt traits that he struggles to accept because it contrasts with his predetermined notions of himself. However, while he does blush and sputter every time she exerts dominance over him, he also finds himself genuinely frustrated with her dismissal of his beliefs and lifestyle, and tends to shove her away or end up instigating arguments when their mindsets clash too much.
Vic has...conflicting feelings when it comes to Darcel. For starters, she shares his home with him, and the two have a unique sort of friends-with-benefits situation going on. There's definitely some genuine romance blossoming alongside this, but Darcel continues to irritate Vic with his deeply-rooted beliefs and habits, such as incessantly praying for forgiveness just for existing and thinking all vampels are basically spawns of Satan. As much as she wants and tries to help him, he's difficult to sway, and this only causes unfortunate arguments and rifts between them.
Samhain likes Freyja. Their friendship is probably the first relatively mutual one Samhain's ever had, if we're being entirely honest. Unfortunately, while he finds her exciting, new and interesting just in general, he's also creepily attracted to her and unafraid to show it. He's prone to being uncomfortably affectionate without much concern for her feelings on the matter.
Freyja considers Samhain a friend, as they get along surprisingly well aside from Samhain being weirdly touchy at times. Freyja enjoys wrestling and roughhousing with him, and she's not afraid to tell him off when he's threatening to cross boundaries. Strangely enough, he's not a terrible listener, though it's almost definitely in part because he finds it attractive.
Rubix and Freyja are friends! Rubix is genuinely fond of his little clown friend and her efforts to ward Loki off, even if they're not always successful. He sometimes wishes she could devote more of her attention to him, but he knows that's just not possible with her managing the entire coven.
Freyja and Rubix are friends! Freyja is a little gentler in her handling of Rubix and does her best to ensure his comfort and safety within the Cloven, usually through getting Loki to back off.
Loki heavily dislikes Rubix for a variety of reasons--not only is he what the former would deem pathetic, but Freyja also likes him enough to force Loki to back off when his harassment gets out of hand. This just irritates him more, honestly. Rubix is one of his favorite targets for unwarranted bullying.
Loki considers Rowen a close friend--close enough to where he doesn't really have much interest in harassing him, surprisingly. Just kidding, it's mostly because Rowen is so unresponsive to the bullying that it bores Loki. As much as he enjoys Rowen, he thinks the guy is a little dull and doesn't put as much faith in him as he should, often not taking his advice into account until it's basically urgent.
Rowen considers Loki one of his best friends alongside Freyja. While he doesn't at all mind the role of sidekick, he's far more aware of Loki's feelings and behaviors than he lets on, or rather, than Loki himself is likely even aware of. He's constantly looking out for the guy and doing his best to preserve his feelings for Freyja, though he rarely becomes too visibly involved.
Rowen considers Freyja one of his best friends alongside Loki. While he adores them both, he's hyperaware of their suppressed feelings for one another and is often trying to subtly encourage their bond from the sidelines. This occasionally includes physically distancing himself from Freyja when she gets a little too touchy because he's fully aware that Loki will get jealous.
Freyja considers Rowen one of her closest friends, with him being one of the three original founders of the Cloven alongside Freyja herself. While she doesn't favor him to the extent she does Loki, she's visibly more comfortable with him than pretty much all other members of the coven.
Loki and Freyja are best friends! They've known each other the longest out of all the vampels within the Cloven, and Loki has a rather distinctive soft spot for her. She may be a constant target of his bullying and harassment, but this is entirely because he likes her so much and is terrible at expressing warmth through proper means. He's often overprotective and unintentionally babying in his efforts to keep her safe. Pretty much everyone knows he's in love with her except for her.
Freyja and Loki are best friends! They've known each other the longest out of all the vampels within the Cloven, with Loki being one of the three original founders alongside Freyja herself. They're extremely close, and Freyja visibly favors him despite getting continually annoyed by his antics. While their relationship has only ever been platonic, it would be a lie to say her feelings regarding him don't border on the suppressed romantic.
