Jessica loves EJ unconditionally and views her as the older sister she never had. EJ is one of the few people Jessica is truly comfortable letting her guard down around, as the two have known each other since Jessica was in middle school and consider each other family.

While Lloyd clearly isn't bothered by this, he's heavily averse to commitment, so the two maintain a friendship that includes both romantic and sexual benefits without any labels. Jesse doesn't mind as long as his best friend is happy...and he gets to keep putting cute outfits he makes on him.
