Strangely enough, Clesse and Rufus have developed a very close and intimate relationship since he first joined Limbo. They are friends with benefits, and Rufus is one of the few people Clesse is comfortable being barefaced around; the resulting emotional intimacy has caused their relationship to delve a lot deeper than originally intended. She is unsure of the true extent of her feelings, but Rufus is more than likely the closest to being a true best friend for her--he's the only one she won't put up any sort of front or persona for.
Rufus' feelings for Clesse have grown rather complicated. While initially intending to charm and manipulate her, he's been completely floored by the exact opposite happening; he can hardly process how soft and warm she makes him feel, and absolutely hates it. He's grown incredibly loyal to her and her business, actively deviating from his original plan of working undercover to expose Limbo's dark secrets, and even becomes jealous when she develops attachments to other performers. He's in very heavy denial regarding the fact that he's slowly but surely falling in love with her.
Clesse wasn't close with Fritter until Wenny, their mutual friend, encouraged them to form a bond; now, Clesse cares for Fritter similarly to how she does Clussy, acting as a sort of caretaker while offering him general affection, comfort, and support. She loves and appreciates him just as she does the rest of her friends and little demon horde, and is also prone to engaging sexually with him due to his perverted nature and the...unique behaviors within their friend group.
Initially, Fritter was highly cautious and nervous around Clesse due to past abuse inflicted by his previous boss. However, after being slowly introduced to her via their mutual friend, Wenny, he's become rather attached to the love and care she provides, as well as deeming it safe and appropriate to grope her without warning. This has resulted in sexual escapades between the two as well as the rest of their friend group, disturbingly.
Clesse and Dandy are old friends dating back to clown school. They briefly dated before separating so Clesse could begin building her own business, but remain good friends and occasionally meet up to chat and reminisce.
Dandy and Clesse are old friends dating back to clown school. Dandy had very strong feelings for Clesse throughout their schooling, and was somewhat heartbroken when they agreed it was better to end their relationship so the little clown could start her own business elsewhere. Even now, Dandy thinks rather fondly of her, and occasionally visits Limbo to both spend time with her and perform at the circus.
Ambium is absolutely in love with (and married to) Kisheci. She came into his life at a time when he was suffering most, when she could have simply torn him down and turned him in, but instead, she showed him kindness and light. She continues to do nothing but support and adore him to this day, and according to him, she's the best thing he could have imagined getting in a partner. As a result of his deep love for her and his tame nature, one could say that he's at her beck and call-- he'd do absolutely anything she tells him to. While all this is true, though, he also recognizes that she can be kind of a shit, especially with their mutual boyfriend, Lemuel, involved. He's often embarrassed by their antics and public flirting.
Kisheci has been head over heels for Ambium since day one. Initially sent to lure him into a false sense of security so he could be turned in to authorities, she accidentally took her job too seriously and developed a genuine attachment to him, ultimately fighting for his survival and demanding Rases lessen his punishment. The two became incredibly close very fast, and Kisheci knows no roughness when it comes to her husband--the mere sight of his face melts her, and it shows through her consistently soft and thoughtful behaviors towards him. She has and will always put him first, and she does everything in her power to make sure he knows this as well as how important and special she thinks he is. They're officially married, and he's her baby boy.
Lemuel is in love with Kisheci. While he can often be seen behaving like a sarcastic, mocking, sometimes creepy jerk, especially when he's egging on Kisheci's assholish behaviors, he truly does care for both of his partners-- however, he favors Kisheci heavily, and all three of them know this. His attraction to her is equally romantic and physical, although he makes it hard to assume there's any romance in there given how much of an openly horny pervert he can be. Overall, though, his softer side comes out more and more all the time, and he makes an effort to show Kisheci that he loves her when he can.
Kisheci is in love with (and dating) Lemuel. They were originally best friends with benefits, but after nearly losing Lem in a "freak accident", Kisheci began to realize her romantic feelings for him. The two are almost outrageously compatible, and tend to encourage each other in the worst possible ways; they are known to engage in unnecessary bullying, joking, and grotesque flirting in both private and public. While their interactions are often dominantly sexual, Kisheci makes her feelings quite clear through her soft treatment of and care for Lem, as she has a much easier time expressing those kinds of emotions than he does. He's her pretty boy.
Lazette is ridiculously in love with Boaz. The two initially met when Bo was sent to retrieve Laz from her realm for an important meeting, and a connection was formed almost instantly; within 24 hours, the pair had already shared their first kiss. Their love is essentially as strong as love can be, with neither being able to function well without the other, and their bond supplying them with the ability to merge and form Bozette. There is little doubt to the fact that they are soulmates, inseparable and unbreakable. Laz thinks Bo is basically the god of romantic and sexual desire, openly referring to him as though he is unbearably sexy when literally nobody else agrees, and she loves to be carried and coddled by him. They're also married!
Boaz is infinitely in love with Lazette. From the day they met, they've been inseparable; he practically adopted her as his comfort object immediately, and continues to enjoy dragging and carrying her around wherever he goes. He considers her his other half, his soulmate, his best friend. He wants nothing more than to protect her and make her happy, and she has become the center of his life, especially after their marriage and their realms merging. He thinks she's the most adorable thing in existence and isn't afraid to show her off at all times.
For a very long time, Boaz feared Rases; of course, not enough to cause an issue between them, but his antics and behaviors often ended with Rases scaring the shit out of him, which he now believes was all playful, but he'll never truly know. Now, though, after the developments between himself, Rases, and the rest of the deities, he considers the god a friend and father figure, and cares about him heavily. He still takes joy in playfully teasing him, but in general, they're much closer now, and Bo feels safe leaning on Rases for support.
When Boaz and Kisheci first met, he had made the active attempt to mock and antagonize her, resulting in a mutual hatred between the two that sparked many instances of tension as well as Boaz getting his ass kicked. However, after Bo went through some mental and emotional growth, he started to feel less contempt for Kisheci, and ceased his targeted behaviors. After he and his wife (Lazette) merged into Bozette and had platonic sex with Kisheci, he finally found the nerve to apologize to her. Now, he considers her a friend, and heavily enjoys her company.
Kisheci and Boaz had a rough start. With Bo immediately antagonizing her for her role and seductive nature, Kisheci actively loathed him and reciprocated his insults and rude behavior heavily. She even went so far as to beat the everloving shit out of him once, though he kind of deserved it. However, since experiencing some personal trauma and gaining maturity, Bo apologized to Kisheci, and the two have begun a relatively successful friendship. In general, they're fairly similar in personality and humor, and likely would have gotten along well from the start if not for Bo's assholery.
While Lazette previously only held fear in regards to Rases, upon learning how fondly he thinks of her, she has developed a strong, familial attachment and perceives him as a sort of father figure. He is the only one she will allow to refer to her as Lazarus, and she's been shown to be intensely protective of him. She instantly takes to heart any advice he has to offer and enjoys sitting in his lap.
While Rases will attempt to deny any sort of favoritism among his deities, Lazette is undoubtedly his favorite and the perceived baby of the "family". He inwardly refers to her as his little Lazarus, and has always been highly protective of her despite maintaining his distance. His greatest fantasies involve getting to directly care for her and hold her in his arms like the little baby werewolf she is.
Kisheci has always resented Rases for spawning her into being as a borderline misogynistic representation of sexual desire and then forcing her into a realm surrounded by sexual deviants. While these feelings have lessened over the course of their interactions, she's never been afraid to stand up to the god and publicly admit her judgments.
Rases has always felt incredible remorse for how he created Kisheci, and has become somewhat avoidant of her out of guilt. It has always been one of his greatest hopes to be able to properly apologize to her someday, but as he doesn't feel it appropriate to become close enough to her to do so, he attempts to make up for it in the meantime by subtly supporting her endeavors and allowing her to behave as she sees fit.
Lazette originally detested Kisheci for her treatment of Boaz, but has since had a complete change of heart after the three of them had intimate relations. Now she's effectively attached and harbors somewhat of an infatuation for her, openly commenting on how attractive she is and desiring to engage in further intimacy.
While Kisheci initially held no fondness for Lazette due to her association with Boaz, she has since developed an appreciation for the little werewolf and enjoys flustering her. She doesn't consider the two of them especially close, but thinks Laz is a cute little thing.
Orange has grown to positively adore Blue as well as reciprocate his romantic feelings, but she is significantly less emotionally receptive and struggles to show it properly. Due to her extreme paranoia and distant nature, it took her some time to warm up to Blue and his advances, and she has nearly killed him at least thrice since they first met. As of the present, however, she internally considers him to be her partner and genuinely enjoys his company and affection.
While Orange loves Blue, she is incapable of understanding him emotionally and continually encounters confusion over this. She also, despite the realness of her feelings, willingly takes advantage of him, having grown to recognize that he will sacrifice anything for her and she can benefit from his selflessness.
Blue is, simply put, head over heels for Orange and incredibly devoted to her as a whole. While their initial interactions were practically near-death experiences for Blue, he was inexplicably drawn to her and became determined to get close to her despite her violent nature. While managing to avoid death and confusing the absolute fuck out of her with his persistence and feelings, a genuine bond blossomed between the two, and they are considered to be dating despite never verbally recognizing the relationship as official.
Blue believes Orange is his soulmate, and thinks so highly of her that he would do absolutely anything to ensure her safety and contentment, including making himself an accessory to her crimes. Sadly, interacting with her has also led him to discover that he has a massive blood kink, which may be at least partly responsible for him being so attracted to her from the beginning.
Much like the rest of her employees, Clesse identifies Licorice as family and heavily enjoys his outward demeanor. She thinks his relationship with his girlfriend is positively adorable and supports them as a couple, but she occasionally experiences some distress when she detects what can only be identified as an "emptiness" within Licorice; she is not able to garner a sense of love of any kind from the peppy clown regardless of how loving he appears to be towards his girlfriend and peers. Clesse prefers to write it off as a misunderstanding on her part.
According to Licorice's perspective, Clesse is considered an "untouchable". He will avoid targeting her in any way whatsoever, as she is both his employer and heavily protected as a whole.
Since taking Clussy in as her roommate, Clesse has grown especially fond of the little demon, and supplies him both with large amounts of physical affection as well as tending to his hygiene; she damn well takes care of the guy. She ensures he bathes, brushes his teeth, and enforces control over him when necessary, though she is rarely strict or harsh with him. She doesn't recall or understand his summoning, but she's grown to accept his loyalty to her while refusing to take advantage of it. The two are extremely physically close, and sleep together, both literally and in the sexual manner.
Clussy is, simply put, head over heels for the clown he's determined his superior. While he may be entirely mistaken as to who was responsible for his summoning, his loyalty to her has since become a result of romantic love rather than its initial cause, and he'll basically do just about anything she says regardless of how borderline feral he can be. When it comes to her, he's clingy, overly physical, and practically desperate for her affection and approval, though he's actually unaware of the romantic aspect of his emotions, as he's never before experienced love and doesn't know how to properly identify it. He's extremely protective and easily made jealous, and often has to be talked down from behaving like some kind of bloodthirsty guard dog when others get close to Clesse.
Marmie is Tether's closest friend and their magician's assistant. Although their relationship is generally made up of jokes and casually hanging out, Tether does care fairly deeply about her and wants the best for their smaller friend. They also heavily enjoy her help with their black magic and how much more fun it is with her present.
Hannibal has a bit of a love-hate relationship with Butcher. Butcher is one of the few people he truly trusts, as well as the only person he'll avoid spewing negative nonsense about. However, this is in part due to Butcher occasionally treating him as some sort of hostage by collaring and leashing him in his trailer while he's away. Hanny prefers to treat these circumstances as though they don't exist, because they cause him some serious mental conflict; it's severely humiliating to him, and has led him to become slightly terrified of Butcher, which further messes with his already fragile ego. As a result, he'll clam up about it entirely, because the mere concept of someone having so much control over him is overwhelmingly embarrassing. Despite all this, Hanny can't bring himself to hate Butcher entirely--he's aware of Butcher's overprotectiveness towards him and has witnessed it in action on multiple occasions, some of which nearly saved his life. This is where the trust comes from, as he knows Butcher does not intend to bring harm to him in any way. Overall, a confusing mess.
Butcher utilizes Hannibal as a source of relief for his overworked mind, and does what he can to keep him nearby at all times. As he lives on Limbo grounds, he secretly shares his trailer with Hanny, who is unemployed and technically shouldn't be there. Since the guy can get a little out of hand, Butcher occasionally keeps him on a short leash--literally. In order to ensure their secret doesn't get out, he has Hannibal collared and leashed inside the trailer when he's on the job. He does not otherwise physically abuse Hanny, but will further restrain him if necessary. As Hannibal is his only reliable source of comfort, Butcher works to keep him out of harm's way, and would not hesitate to injure, maim or kill if it was needed.
Sprinkles' feelings regarding his boss have grown to be nearly familial in nature; he's rather loyal to both her and Limbo and relies on her pretty heavily when it comes to keeping and accommodating his secrets. While he isn't especially physically close to her and is uncomfortable intruding on her personal business, this is mostly due to the deep respect he harbors for her and the fact that their relationship has always been primarily professional.
As is the case with just about all of her employees, Clesse perceives Sprinkles as family and is thus committed to ensuring his comfort and protection in her circus. While she prefers not to play favorites, the oversized clown is among her most treasured performers, and she harbors a great deal of trust in him; both as a result of this and his known strength, she occasionally looks to him for assistance in handling misbehaving employees, trespassers, and anything else that may require some more hands-on control. She is one of the very few who is fully aware of Sprinkles' species and diet, and she has gone to serious lengths to protect this information as well as support him in any ways she can.
Drowsy likes Sprinkles! Kind of? They have mixed feelings for him...they like his appearance and in general, find his perverted and smug personality entertaining and relatable...but when it comes to being with Clesse theyre...kind of jealous. then all the things they find in common become annoying when its being acted out on Clesse. Drowsy has mixed feelings, but they try not to get mad and grow a disliking to him.
In general, Drowsy likes hanging around Sprinkles and enjoys his presence when the 2 are on their own, they invite him to pull pranks pretty often, and make lots of sex and pervert jokes, maybe go around town and steal things just cuz they can or as a dare. They like it when they have fun together lol
