IU1 is seemingly a dreamworld full of dreamers. Much of the population exist within the realm of dreams, rather than living a life in the real world.

They're secretive to the outside worlds, but it appears that the dreamers are a kind of worldwide religion, only waking once a week. Those who look after them while they sleep are highly appreciated.
